@rcommal: I think only Lem and a few spokenout commenters are "for Cruz." In Lem's case, I think he's just trying stay on the good side of some influential bloggers and tweeters.
Eh? What "guys" are you referencing? Seems to me there are a number of commenters here who haven't yet announced who they are "for", along with some definite Trump aficionados, and one who is presently wrangling with an urge to hug Jeb. What does it matter who someone is for and whether this is a new thing or not, as long as ideas are being exchanged, laughter shared, stories told, opinions offered, thoughts presented, and arguments formed?
I'm undecided. I just want to discuss, challenge, and learn, before I do. My vote in California won't matter anyway. I just have a duty to George Washington's ghost to do my best.
I hope we are not all required to vote for the same guy in here, though we may very well do that. Who will Ritmo, or Deborah vote for? Sorry Titus, voting for Cruz will not get you his intern's job.
Let me try to put it in another way: I think that there's a long-game going on here, and also that this long-game will eventually intersect with the rather more obvious short-game.

John Lovits? Is he still alive?
Amazing. The bar for celebrity is so low these days.

Marco Rubio is actually running for President.
Sorry Troop, the show looks like a waste of my time.

Sorry, but I'm pulling for Trump. If Cruz wins the nomination, I'll vote for him.
Believe it or not I am pulling for Trump too. I will vote for Cruz if he gets the nomination but I would not vote for any of the others.

Ritmo feels the Bern.
Well at least when he pees.

In other words: Cruz.
; )
In other, bardi-ish words: Things Are Not What They Seem.
