Chopper presser

Trump greets the press: Time for fake news.

I know only two people who would tell somebody as they are speaking to them, "You're breath is very bad" and one of them is Trump.

For some reason that I cannot figure out, that directness fascinates me.

Because I would say, "Would you like some gum?"

     "No thank you."

"Take some gum."

     "I said, no thank you."

"I said, have some gum."

Concerning replacing formal press conferences with chopper pressers, all the previous presidents must be thinking, "I wish that I had thought of that."

Given a comfortable place to hold pressers properly as adults the privilege is abused. So the press is treated like the animals they insist on emulating. Trump gets an audience of normal people enthralled with the chance of watching statecraft in action and the press is herded together and penned as farm animals. The press is there to discomfort the president. Fine. Trump says through his actions, "so be discomforted as you fire away." Trump thrives in the chaos and clamor.

They're fun to watch.

There simply isn't, nor has there been anyone like Trump. He is a breath of fresh air.

He makes it look easy.

Why give the lynch mob the first phone call? Trump is right that it will be harder to have frank discussions with foreign leaders if they fear their conversations with him will be released.

He knows he has it nailed and he knows they know it and they know he knows they know it.

Trump is a combination of direct and indirect, and he keeps the media off balance by alternating candor with hyperbole and they, like the Big Cat slipping on the wooden floor, don't know where or what to sink their claws in for purchase. They'd like to de-gut him and put an end to his relentless squeaking, kicking and attention-grabbing.

Also of interest to me is the deep appreciation and admiration expressed here for candor and directness in a male authority figure while candor, inquiry and directness in females tends to be reduced to bitchiness with a silly immature voice assigned, or regarded as pushing, shoving or ignoring the other's wishes in an unseemly attempt to control.

And Yes, Trump is a breath of fresh air in contrast to the rotten stink of decay that comes out of the MSM mouthpieces.
