Tom Fitton with Judicial Watch and Lou Dobbs talk about Trump not doing anything about Vindman's coup effort

Obama would have had Vindman court-martialed.

So Trump is thinking about something else.

Man, it's hard to think like Trump.

Fitton and Dobbs don't even bother trying to think what Trump is thinking. They are stuck in their Washington ways and cannot think outside their own box.

So what is Trump thinking?

He's thinking that taking rash action has no immediate benefit to himself. Let Vindman stew. Let the cries for action against Vindman build up so that it appears as if Trump is acquiescing to reasonable pressure and he is not so interested in vengeance himself. Let awareness of an actual coup build up before taking action. I think that Trump is thinking how he can use this to build up broader support among the presently undecided. Whereas taking executive action quickly could be harmful regarding undecided voters. I think Trump is using time.

My own ideas about using time comes from baking sourdough bread. With sourdough as model, Trump is allowing the coup situation to ferment before taking executive action against the coup plotters. Because the connections are so vast. Trump knows a lot of people are connected who won't be affected by action taken against Vindman. This is in sharp contrast to an actual despot such as Erdogan in Turkey who would have people imprisoned and challenge anyone to challenge him. He'd include everyone connected even tangentially.

Trump is different. Very different. Fitton and Dobbs cannot even imagine.

Exactly.

Let them hang themselves, not with Trump's rope, but their own.
