Pizzagate in the news

"Retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn's son sparred with CNN's Jake Tapper on Twitter over the "pizzagate" conspiracy that led an armed man into a Washington, DC, pizza shop Sunday.

Flynn's son, Michael Flynn Jr., vehemently defended the story, which baselessly alleged that a pedophilia ring involving high-level Democratic Party officials — including Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton's   campaign chair, John Podesta — is operating out of a Washington pizzeria called Comet Ping Pong.

Flynn is President-elect Donald Trump's incoming national security adviser.
The conspiracy led a 28-year-old man to bring an assault rifle to the restaurant on Sunday, police said. They said the gunman was looking to investigate the story himself.
"Until #Pizzagate proven to be false, it'll remain a story," Flynn Jr. posted to Twitter. "The left seems to forget #PodestaEmails and the many 'coincidences' tied to it."

Pizzagate is a bunch of BS, but given all the fake news stories lefties have spewed, let them wallow around in this.

The real scandal remains Jeffrey Epstein and all the junkets that Bill Clinton went on to his private pedo island (actually pedastery, but still wrong).

Or whatever it was.

I don't think that Pizzagate is a real thing. But then 99% of the stuff that the Main Stream Media produces is not a real thing.

You have to understand something about Trump. He is a cheap fuck. Everything is about money with him. So he wants to keep American Jobs here with Boeing. But he doesn't want to get ripped off. The days of the military contractors ripping off the government with cost overruns is over buddy. Trump is going to get some of those "little guys with yarmulkes from Borough Park" to go through everything. Watch and see. Boeing is going to come in at a much more reasonable number.

Of course that won't stop the nitpickers from picking nits because anything Trump does like saving 1,000 jobs or getting a contractor to not rip off the government is wrong just because he is doing it.

I have pizzagate and pedo island linked in my mind. I figured pedo was not true, and found pizza incredible and too stupid to take seriously, but who knows with the new age crap.

" He is a cheap fuck." Me too, and I like this alot. The Presidency is not royalty, and it needs to lead by example. It may take a rich guy to be able to accept that. I think the government takes about double what it should be to do it's job. It is possible to have the greatest government in history with the most powerful military, and take care of the truly needy and helpless for half of what we are spending. I don't really expect anything like that, but Trump has a lot of low hanging fruit to pick if he can be as tough as he talks. He needs to use the private sector and negotiate tough contracts with incentives and penalties. Many have been trained to feed like pigs at the government trough without any fear of real competition, like Solyndra. That makes us weak and vulnerable. We need tough love in government.

I remember in 1994 after the Northridge earthquake, the freeway overpasses here collapsed on some of the major freeways. They gave the contractor a $200,000 bonus per day if they completed it ahead of time. They set an already ambitious deadline of 6 months for a project the State engineers estimated would take 2 years. The contractors finished it in under 3 months. They pocketed a 14.5 million dollar bonus, which was still a great deal for taxpayers because the closed freeway was costing the community $1 million per day. That's what I want to see all over. No more easy cost overruns, but instead stories of hard-working Americans doing amazing things and get rewarded for it. I want to see us start to actually win by winning. I challenge Trump to keep his promise and make me tired of winning. Right now, I ain't no ways tiaaard.

What you described bags is one of the main reasons I was all in for Trump.

Early on I heard an interview with Hannity where he talked about military contractors and the waste and fraud with no-bid purchasing. Trump went to town on that. This is his thing. Negotiating and getting a better deal. If he concentrates on stuff like this....saving billions of government money....and leaves the other bullshit to Pence he will be a great President. A very different President. But perhaps a great one.

The media is going nuts about him getting involved in the Carrier deal and now this Air Force One debacle. They think it is beneath the dignity of a President to save American Jobs or save America money. They think he should just golf and raise money from fatcats with procurement contracts and special interests. That is their perfect President.

The Pentagon "buried" a report (meaning the media was aware of but failed to report on it) about galactic-scale waste in the civilian side of the military. The current admin is fine with this sort of "military spending" because it means "jobs" and captive votes. Trump and Mattis will put an end to it.

Everything's a wild conspiracy until it's not. Who would have believed that Sanduskey / Paterno stuff if it were just a rumor? Or the Hastert stuff? I'm surprised after the Clinton impeachment when they were dropping infidelity rumors about Gingrich's replacements nothing was said about Hastert. Wouldn't something be mentioned in the raw FBI files? Maybe they were happy to have a speaker with very damaging blackmail info.

I didn't pay much attention to pizzagate, then it turns out David Brock's former boyfriend is the owner. How does a pizza place owner, Alefantis, get named one of the 50 most powerful people in Washington?
