ed, My bride and you are the only people I know who use "Given up the ghost." We have a baby grand-daughter. Nothing else is needed. Merry Christmas to all you good people.
Add me to your list of people who use the phrase "given up the ghost" nd, and widen the circle of ghostly awareness.
The mesh bag of dried mealworms I hung in the tree at dusk last night as my gift to the birds has already attracted one of the bluebirds who decided to remain in MI rather than head south. Seeing him makes me happy,
I truly enjoy the giving part of this holiday, and like finding ways to enter into that. In a burst of generosity, I even threw out seeds for the marauding turkeys who have no predators or fear and act like feathered ass-hats. Tomorrow they're on their own again.

New tablet, mine's giving up the ghost.

You need a screen protector when you get your new one.

Thanks ed, I use a stylus very sporadically.
New slippers. Got them.
Oh, we're traveling tomorrow so did Christmas gifts tonight.
