There seems to be a recurring theme that if you criticize Israel, then you are an antisemite. Some of these people are legitimate Jew haters like Al Sharpton and the new mayor of New York. And that phony black conservative whore who is just trying to get clicks and followers. But many of us are questioning why we are sending billions upon billions to Israel. As Marjorie Taylor Greene has so aptly stated, Israel is a nuclear power. We just saved their bacon by bombing Iran. They need to stand on their own two feet. Other nuclear powers have a large immigrant community in the US that we don't subsidize. Like India. We should treat Israel like India. Be a good ally. Have a mutual defense pact. But don't pay their bills. Don't get directly involved in their wars. We can help negotiate peace for them, but we need to put America First.
Stop with the antisemitism bullshit. We know the Jews. We support the Jews. We just don't want to pay for the Jew's tab anymore. In blood or treasure.
So, President Trump has decided to send more bombs and ammunition to Ukraine. Because the protection of the actual Nazi's who are the Ukrainians, is vital to our national interest and keeping America First. The Deep State gets exactly what it wants. Lindsey Graham is creaming in his panties, and eye-patch McCain is watching his stock portfolio rise in leaps and bounds.
Now, Pam Bondi, a Trump loyalist, refuses to release the Epstein files, and Trump mocks the people asking questions about it. Did the Deep State win here? Did a combination of American intelligence and the Mossad conspire to cover up the actions of their operative, whom they had killed? I thought MAGA was about transparency and releasing the information to the people for the people to decide? What happened to that? It seems that Dan Bongino is the only person in the Justice Department who has any integrity. If he resigns in principle because of the failure to release the Epstein files, then we can assume that the Deep State has won again.
Trump is reveling in the praise he got for bombing Iran. Now he is going to go the path of the Bushes by getting in deeper with Ukraine. I'm happy for Israel, but I think enough is enough. They have to stand on their own two feet without a massive subsidy.
One of the few Republican MAGA figures who makes any sense is Marjorie Taylor Greene. She recently promulgated a bill to end subsidies to both Israel and Ukraine. She recently said;"I will be voting NO on all funding packages for the Ukraine war (as I have from the beginning) and now the Israel war," Greene posted on X at the time. "We have had over 10 MILLION people illegally cross our border since Biden took office and we are over $33 TRILLION dollars in debt with many major problems afflicting Americans. I'm entering amendments to strike $500 million more dollars for nuclear-armed Israel, and it's important to say nuclear-armed Israel, because they do have nuclear weapons. This is not a helpless country. And we already give them $3.4 billion every single year in the state, from the State Department. $3.4 billion dollars every single year. They don't need another $500 million in our defense budget. That's for the American people's defense."
The time for spending on foreign governments is over. Maybe we can use that money to raise Social Security Benefits or let more poor Americans get greater SNAP benefits, or even Medicaid if they need it and are legitimate American Citizens. I won't mind if the kids of lazy Americans get benefits instead of spending money on third world shit holes. America First was not supposed to be about foreign entanglements and subsidizing foreign wars. It is about spending American money on Americans.
I am increasing convinced that President Trump has lost his way.
All leaders of various nations that the United States toppled leading to unexpected consequences. Sometimes it led to our involvement in endless wars with thousands of our boys being killed or wounded. Sometimes it led to an even worse regime being installed. In every case, it led to a disaster foisted upon us by our incompetent intelligence services.
They were wrong every time.
Now they swear that just one little bomb will make it all right. It will not go any further than that. They swear they won't come in your mouth if you just suck a little harder.
America First means no endless wars. No foreign entanglements. NO WAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So we get to see images of Americans fleeing their embassy as the poor saps who aided us in subjugating their country cling to the helicopter struts to try to escape. I have seen this movie before. The pity of it was that it is all so avoidable.
Once the last dog dies there will time to play the blame game. People blame Biden. Or Trump. Or Bush for that matter. The real blame belongs to a much more sacred cow. The United States Miliraty.
We had twenty years to get it right. Instead of working with the grunts on the ground we listened to the political generals, the CIA and the Deep State. They are wrong as usual as Ed pointed out in his post. They have pretty much been wrong about everything since World War Two. We have no business in Afghanistan. It has been the meat grinder of armies since the days of Alexander the Great. Our military in relative terms is far inferior to that of Alexander. I know our leadership is for sure.
We need to listen to the grunts on the ground. That's who I support. Not the political generals who are more worried about trans rights, white rage and implementing critical race theory. You know who I would have put in charge? That Navy Seal they tried to prosecute for shooting Taliban terrorists or the Green Beret who beat down the Afghan police chief who was raping young boys. They know how corrupt that shithole country was. If we sent in our boys we should have just killed the enemy and then left them to fight it out. Not nation build. Take whatever the Neocons and Cheney and the rest of the chorus had to say and do the exact opposite.
If Trump or another populist gets in they have to decapitate the entire officer corp. All of them. Promote sergeants and corporals to the top positions. Guys who know what it is to be their with their asses on the line. Bust up the Deep State before they get us in another forever war. Because if they do we will lose and we will feel it this time because it will come home to roost.
If you want to learn anything about what is going on in the United States you need to follow foreign newspapers. Sure you get a biased liberal view but at least they talk about subjects that our fake news doesn't care about. Like foreign affairs. The Independent in England has a story where they quote President Trump as saying we should improve our relationship with Russia as they were our allies in World War 2 against the filthy Germans. They quote the God Emperor: "They also fought World War II. They lost 50 million people," Mr Trump said of Russia, then the Soviet Union. Germany was the enemy. ... And Germany's [now], like, this wonderful thing," he added, suggesting the now-democratic European power is not-so wonderful in his eyes. Now I would prefer that we pursue a much more isolationist stance but at the very lease we should cut our ties with Germany. We spent untold billions propping them up and they have nothing but disdain for us and our values. Witness a recent post in the great blog Legal Insurrection in which it is reported that more German youth want to befriend China instead of the US. They blame the coronavirus on us instead of the chinks. So fuck em. Pull our troops out now and put them in Fort Trump in Poland. Leave them to their own devices. Also put a 25% tariff on all of their cars unless they are manufactured in the United States. It's time to make AMERICA FIRST!
The title of this column reflects the first thought I had on the news of Steve Bannon's resignation last Friday as President Trump's strategic advisor.
Although I do not know Mr. Bannon personally, the impression I have gotten from reading biographies of him, as well as my knowledge of his enunciated beliefs, his patriotism, and the pivotal role he played in galvanizing Donald Trump's presidential campaign, caused me to believe that he was the one individual with the intellectual firepower, intestinal fortitude, and strategic vision to check the unchecked growth of our government.
Now, with his resignation, I fear that that the barely-begun battle to retake control of the government and pare it back to something resembling sanity, is lost.
Could Britain have survived the Nazi onslaught if Churchill had resigned? Could America have held together had Lincoln quit?
With all this talk about nuclear exchanges and fire and fury I want to go back to the basic question,
Why are we in Korea in the first place?
Stopping Communism?
Subsidizing South Korea's unfair competition with our manufacturing base by paying for their defense?
Pouring money and lives down a rathole? Why are hundreds of thousands of our soldiers and their dependents held hostage by their presence in South Korea? We originally were in Korea to stop the North Korean communists from taking over South Korea. We expended vast sums of money and many lives to prevent that. Well that's over. Nobody cares about communism anymore. Witness Vietnam. Or China for that matter. They are economic partners and want sex drugs and rock and roll like everyone else. We are still living like it is 1954. Enough already. If our guys weren't there as hostages and South Korea and Japan had to stand on their own two feet I doubt that we would have to worry about North Korea.
SANT'ANNA DI STAZZEMA, Italy — Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, visiting a memorial to victims of Nazi atrocities in World War II, declared Monday the United States will stand up to aggressors who harm civilians, wherever they are.
Tillerson traveled to Italy as Washington seeks to rally world leaders behind a strategy to resolve the protracted civil war in Syria.
The secretary of state commenced his visit to Italy by traveling up a winding mountain road to Sant'Anna di Stazzema, the Tuscan village where the Nazis massacred more than 500 civilians during World War II.
As he laid a wreath at the site, Tillerson alluded to the chemical attack in Syria last week that triggered retaliatory U.S. airstrikes.
"We rededicate ourselves to holding to account any and all who commit crimes against the innocents anywhere in the world," Tillerson said. "This place will serve as an inspiration to us all."
It is instructive to see who celebrates the reelection of Paul Ryan.

He works hand in glove with the Democrats to pass the agenda of the lobbyists and crony capitalists which is directly in conflict with interests of the American People.
Donald Trump is just a passing moment in the political history of the United States. Just like Sarah Palin and the tea party before him. Both of them lost. Lost big. The same people celebrated their defeat. They same people go on the cable shows to laugh and scoff at the politicians who are fighting for the actual interests of the American people. So if Trump loses they will do the same thing. They will think they have "won" something. What they have done is tighten the screws on the pressure cooker.
I ask that you stop and think about what you are praising. Take Donald Trump out of the equation. Stop and think if these politicians and their programs are in the best interest of the people. I submit that they are not. They have not been for a long time. Something has to change.
