It's Shark Week in the canals of Buttonwood Harbor in Florida as hundreds of coastal sharks have come from the harbor into the canals that dot this residential community.
You see it is the Red Tide. No not the communist congress people led by AOC but the algae that spreads and sucks all the oxygen out of the water and kills the fish.
The sharks are smart enough to sense that this is a bad thing so they fled inland into the system of canals and inlets that make this town a nice place to live. In Florida everybody that can loves to have a boat and these little canals are perfect places to park your little schooner until it is filled with sharks. There is a problem though. There are so many sharks that they don't have enough room. They have to swim back and forth to get the oxygen they need to breath and there is just not enough room or oxygen in the water to sustain a large population of sharks. So they might all die anyway.Personally I blame COVID.

We bought a second home in Florida.
Still have a home in Delaware across the street from my FIL. But also got one, finally, 20ish minutes from my dad.
Now we’re trying to work the balance. It ain’t easy. Never has been. Never will.
