Do you the way to San Jose?

Did you have a problem getting to Lem's Levity? I don't know if they took us off the google search engine. I used to put the name of the blog in and it had a listing of the blog along with the three most popular posts. Now it only lists those post separately. I think that makes it a lot harder for people to find us if it is not bookmarked.  I think it is a type of shadow banning. I don't know if there have been a lot of complaints or that we (mainly me) use words and images that are banned by the Google police. It just seems odd.

Any time they make it harder to find us makes our viewership go down. I am not big on analytics. I just type and let fly and let the chips fall where they may. I just want to make it easy to get to us. So if you are a casual reader or just a lurker please bookmark us so we can see you on a regular basis.

It looks like they got Vox Day

It looks like the forces of censorship and liberalism have brought down another conservative blogger. The popular blog Vox Popoli has been shut down by blogger. When you go there this is what you get.

Vox Day is a conservative commenter, writer, book publisher and savant who has long predicted that they would shut him down someday. He was one of the leaders of the "Sad Puppies" who led the fight against liberal extremism in the publishing of science fiction. Vox Day is an extremely good sci-fi writer who has neglected his writing to lead a movement against censorship and liberal tyranny. He started a publishing house and has started an on line comic book magizine that has become quite popular. He is a no holds barred truth teller and as such must be silenced by the powers that be.

I am truly not surprised and I am sure he is not either. He always said you had to find your own means of engaging and to not participate in Facebook, Twitter or Instagram since they are liberal monoliths that will censor you. I guess that the internet provider is following suit and censoring him as well.

This bodes ill for freedom of expression all across the board.

Censorship...it is always with us!

So it appears that Lem got another notice from Google about objectionable content. Probably from the Meghan McCain video. He sent me a copy of it and it seems to be generated from Google Ads. I think Google Ads is just about the only way Lem can monetize the blog. I never got a notice on my blog because I never used Ads so they didn't care, Of course that could change. If you use certain buzzwords that the algorithm picks up you can get on a list and be banned.

This is part and parcel of the political correct bigotry and extremism of Google, Facebook, Twitter and all the big social media companies that are controlled by radical progressives. You can't joke around or bust balls or even talk seriously about things that don't fit the woke template. If you do they cancel you. It has become ludicrous in the extreme.

I like to post on TV blogs. Lately is what I do the most. Of course I have banned five times already for having an alternative viewpoint. Just  post the phrase "It's ok to be white" and watch yourself get banned. You just have to set up a new account with a new email but that is just a big pain in the ass.

What terrifies congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez?

Please be careful commenting about congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. We don't want to get banned, blocked, excommunicated from the public square.

I don't care about the new Privacy Policy ....I have to post a Dick Pic!

I have a long history of having my controversial comments and posts being censored and deleted over the years but a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do.

Now this photo can get you in a lot of trouble with your politically correct co workers so it is definitely not safe for work. If a pajama boy or a #Metoo girl sees it they are sure to put a complaint into Human Resources about a hostile work environment.

Still I have to post a Dick pick.

Censorship

Censorship is baked in the cake these days. Social media giants like Facebook and Twitter are shadow banning and outright delete conservative voices as their views are considered hate speech. Political correctness is ramping up the outrage machine so anyone who espouses a traditional outlook on morality needs to be censored and deleted.

It is even happening on blogs where the ads are being cut if you espouse certain views. There is a huge controversy on Youtube where certain videos are "demonitized" or lose their ads if people complain about your view point.

So the current outrage about what some C list comedian said at the White House Correspondents dinner rings a little hollow. There are a lot bigger problems out there. So she made some nasty cracks about Sarah Sanders. Look Sarah Sanders has beautiful children and a husband who loves her. Something that Michelle Wolf will never have. So Mrs. Sanders should learn from her mistake and never go back to that dinner. Same with Kellyanne Conway and the rest of the Trump administration staffers who made the fatal error of going. The boss knew better. Shun the scum. Don't go and give them a chance to use you as a punching bag. The comedian has a perfect right to say what she wants. Don't censor her. But don't help her or the scumbag organization that runs that dinner.

Treat them the way we need to treat the NFL Ignore them. You have better things to do. Take a lesson from the God Emperor of the Cherry Blossom Throne.

He is smarter than you.

Google's YouTube launches new censorship scheme

Via Drudge: YOUTUBE has been accused of censorship after introducing a controversial new policy designed to reduce the audience for videos deemed to be "inappropriate or offensive to some audiences".

The Google-owned video site is now putting videos into a "limited state" if they are deemed controversial enough to be considered objectionable, but not hateful, pornographic or violent enough to be banned altogether.

This policy was announced several months ago but has come into force in the past week, prompting anger among members of the YouTube community.

The Sun Online understands Google and YouTube staff refer to the tactic as "tougher treatment".

One prominent video-maker slammed the new scheme whilst WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange described the measures as "economic censorship".

However, YouTube sees it as a way of maintaining freedom of speech and allowing discussion of controversial issues without resorting to the wholesale banning of videos.

Videos which are put into a limited state cannot be embedded on other websites.

They also cannot be easily published on social media using the usual share buttons and other users cannot comment on them.

Virginia school temporarily bans 'To Kill a Mockingbird' and Huckleberry Finn

"The parent, whose son is biracial, said that her concerns are "not even just a black and white thing."
"I keep hearing, 'This is a classic, This is a classic,' ... I understand this is a literature classic. But at some point, I feel that children will not -- or do not -- truly get the classic part -- the literature part, which I'm not disputing," she said at a Nov. 15 school board meeting. "This is great literature. But there (are so many) racial slurs in there and offensive wording that you can't get past that."
The parent said her son, who was reading "Huckleberry Finn" for a high school assignment, couldn't get past a certain page in that story on which the N-word appeared seven times.
A racial slur appears 219 times in "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" and 48 times in "To Kill a Mockingbird.""

Canadian Comedian fined and College "Privilege Board" at Appalachian State

Canadian comedian Mike Ward was fined a whopping $42,000 by Quebec’s Human Rights Tribunal for jokes he made about a disabled boy.

Appalachian State University students must walk past a “privilege board” denouncing their white, male, able-bodied, Christian, or cisgender privilege any time they enter the Student Union.
The bulletin board is located in Plemmons Student Union (PSU), which the school calls “the centerpiece of the Appalachian campus,” and was apparently put up by a student group last semester, but has been allowed to remain in place to date.

"Hillary supporters warn media against using words of criticism as 'sexist'"

We will be watching, reading, listening and protesting coded sexism,” the pro-Hillary group HRC Super Volunteers warned The New York Times’ Amy Chozick Wednesday.
Here are the banned words: polarizing, calculating, disingenuous, insincere, ambitious, inevitable, entitled.
The Washington Post list of banned words, not to be used when writing about Hillary Clinotn, is more extensive.
So these words are now off the table: "polarizing," "calculating," "disingenuous," "insincere," "ambitious," "inevitable," "entitled," "over-confident," "secretive," "will do anything to win," "represents the past," and "out of touch."
What other words, often used to describe something Hillary Clinton does, do you think she should ask to be banned?

"‘Suffocating pressure’: Former ThinkProgress writer describes White House ‘censorship’"

"Zaid Jilani, a former blogger with the left-wing think tank Center for American Progress, explained this week how the Obama administration frequently tries to censor the progressive organization’s content when it departs from the White House’s agenda."
Jiliani was reacting to two on-air protests by journalists opposed to Russia’s invasion of southern Ukraine. The two worked for Russia Today (RT) — an English-speaking media outlet funded directly by Moscow — and felt their bosses were trying to censor their opinions.

In a post titled, ”How Working in Washington Taught Me We’re All A Little Like RT America,” Jilani explained how the White House frequently played the part of the Kremlin — leaning on management to push their writers in a particular direction, and punishing them if they strayed from the party line.

The blogger never assumed he would agree with everything pushed by the Center for American Progress’s Action Fund when he joined the 501(c)(4) nonprofit to write about national security in 2009. But he soon discovered that one topic in particular was entirely shielded from criticism — the war in Afghanistan, which President Obama was then in the process of escalating.

“One of the controversial topics that was very constrained in our writing at ThinkProgress in 2009 was Afghanistan.,” he wrote. “CAP had decided not to protest Obama’s surge, so most of our writing on the topic was simply neutral — we weren’t supposed to take a strong stand.”

That was tough for Jilani, a strong opponent of the war. read more
As we are learning via the Lois Lerner's 5fh, if the IRS could be manipulated to short circuit the tea parties, before the 2012 election, wouldn't it be prudent to ask, where else did the Obama administration used the enormous apparatus of the government to further their political agenda?

Reddit Bans "Climate Deniers"

"Where there is no consensus we ask users to support their comments with links to studies and publications. However, the consensus is so overwhelming in the case of climate change that it would effectively be like allowing people to come into a submission on vaccinations and throw around the claim that vaccines cause autism. Our policy limits both deniers and skeptics to the extent that /r/science is for the discussion of current, peer-reviewed research and climate skepticism doesn’t have much to show in that regard."

“As moderators responsible for what millions of people see, we felt that to allow a handful of commenters to so purposefully mislead our audience was simply immoral,”

suddenly everybody started ironing

Amazon quietly removed George Orwell's 1984 from its Kindle e-book readers due to a copyright fraud thing going on there.

Wireless network.

Whispernet.

Schwing, deleted the books from people's devices and refunded the money they paid.

And that proves ... something!

You should always buy your books in pop-up form. Free from the doings of Whispernet.
