Devin Nunes and Mark Meadows discuss whistle blowers coming forward

This clip is featured elsewhere a couple of places. Basically, it features Fox's Hannity fellating Nunes and Jordan and Meadows without much of anything profoundly specific. It's disappointing.

So there's that. We're supposed to be impressed with "there's a lot of whistle-blowers coming forward." Fine. But what are they saying of consequence? That people knew what they were doing was wrong. How is that supposed to convince anyone our system is deeply damaged?

How is reaffirming Rosenstein's original scope memo was based on empowering Weissman and Mueller to use the dossier created by Glenn Simpson, Nellie Ohr and Christopher Steele useful in any way?

I think this is the Nunes speech that Hannity is insisting is so powerful.

Ooooh, burn!

We already know all of this. How does unemotionally repeating for the record what we already know supposed to have any impact when Democrats and media simply do not respond?

There is no cracking of heads, no letting of blood, no charges, no indictments, no punishments, no fight.

It's disappointing.

They're all coached to simply not respond.

And our exceedingly incurious media is worse than useless.

There is no cartoon balloon of Peter Strzok and Lisa Page floating over Washington to arrest their attention.

Oh dear, Comey circumvented the process! And that statement is immediately overrun with "I agree we need to have an update to make sure ... " No pause. No drama. Just impotent yammering that disappears as quickly as it is formed.

These people could use a few drama classes.

It's disappointing.

I need to see people get fired.

I need to see the right people sitting in prison.

For the rest of their lives.

To never return to give testimony as John Dean does right now.

I need to see entire Departments collapse, swept away and replaced. Or else all of this is exercise in futility.
