Sundance states and then reiterates that federal representatives never write legislation. That's the job of special interests groups, foreign governments, multinational corporatons, banks, financial groups, businesses, activists groups, non-profits, for-profits, who then hire lobbyists to "sell" their legislation to congressmen.
The “America First” policies represented by candidate Donald Trump are not within the legislative constructs coming from the authors of the legislation. Congress has no bills to advance because all of the myriad of bills and briefs written are not in line with President Trump policy.
That’s why congress has not passed any substantive legislation for President Trump to sign. There was simply no entity within DC writing legislation that was in-line with President Trump’s economic and foreign policy agenda. Exactly the opposite is true. All of the DC legislative briefs and constructs were/are antithetical to Trump policy.
There were hundreds of file boxes filled with thousands of legislative constructs that became worthless when Donald Trump won the election.
Those legislative constructs (briefs) representing tens of millions of dollars worth of time and influence and are now just sitting there piled up in boxes under desks and in closets amid K-Street and the congressional offices. That's all I can steal. I'm leaving out quite a lot of good writing. You really must click over to the Treehouse and read how clearly Sundance explains this. And the whole time you read it you'll be going, "Yes, yes, yes, of course. Now why didn't I think of saying it like this?" In the very least Sundance provides a way to explain current affairs so simply and logically that it's accepted without dispute.
Here's the address again.

Hey, you don't re-water the tree of liberty on a regular basis -- this is what you get.
Team Sundance does good work.
They were the ones who blew the whistle on the One True Ted-McConnell connection last year.
With copious documentation, I might add. Very impressive outfit.
Chip, Hey, hey, Chip,
Firefox installed a major update when I started up the computer machine today. It looks like it is now blocking the Lem's Amazon link for security reasons which are beyond my comprehension. I opened in Internet Explorer and it is not blocked there. I have Adblocker off so it's not that. It might be me, but I think it's the update.
Maybe you could take a look if you get a chance. It could be something easily fixable.
It's also missing at Instapundit after I turn off Adblock over there.
