"Secretary Carter awarded his boss with the medal on January 4 during the Armed Forces Full Honor Farewell Review for the President held at Conmy Hall, Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall in Virginia.
Carter insisted that the medal was a token of appreciation for Obama’s service as commander in chief, the Associated Press reported."

I'm skeptical.
The picture made me laugh.
Well, giving medals is certainly a time-honored way of deflecting criticism. Or perhaps, another way of stating the emperor has no clothes on.
Maybe he is going to have a meeting with David Cameron and wants to point to his medal and yell "See! See!
Obama is our hollywood prez. All play acting and bullshit, whining on Q, awards ceremonies and pats on the back.
Obama is an out of touch narcissist - just like the rest of Whoppiland
Nobel Price 2
The sequel is not as good as the original.
Il Duce chin thrust!
Does Mussolini Obama receiving an award
Remember Choom Gang Obama's Mr. Cool act?
And how does he reconcile the two?
Ah, such foolish thoughts never enter the head of he who never looks back.
It's really rather pathetic.
I shall now award myself the coveted Achievement in AMartelling prize.
[And now I'll just add that to my resume, hmmmm hmm hmm.]
Damn the optics, full speed ahead.
At least in Hollywood they at least have the appearance of having a vote before bestowing a lifetime achievement award. I mean, it may be totally politicized but at least there's some ostensible competition. Obama just gets awards dropped on him just for being Obama. Magical.
In other news, the Clintons are going to attend the inauguration.
A member of the US Army Honor Guard recently fainted during some sort of OBamacentric event. Wonder if this was the event and the guy was just overcome by ... disgust or something, just couldn't take it anymore, and checked out temporarily.
One word: pathetic
The sad end to a sad sad muslim traitors reign.
Snopes.com.
Amartel; this was the very event in which the soldier fainted.
So, I looked up the criteria for the medal. Anybody know what "considerable personal sacrifice and inconvenience" Obama went through to get the award? I mean, besides giving up a round of golf to attend the ceremony.
Something a 2 bit South American dictator would do.
Asston Carter received this same award 5 times.
Time to get rid of it.
Clinton and W Bush also received the same award. How do you reward someone for doing the job they're supposed to do? Get rid of it.
