So the other night I was musing out loud at TOP about the origin of the term "magic carpet ride" with reference to drugs. link. I mean, Steppenwolf had a song with that name in 1968, but Paul Revere and The Raiders references the term in 1966 -- fully two years earlier. Columbian hookers must be pretty damn hot. On the other hand, I think there are a lot of transsexuals down there, which fact I bring up because I'm so surprised that the 25 year old hooker-hiring former Obama White House volunteer who now consults the government on women's issues would choose a female prostitute. But, then, one shouldn't stereotype.
Disclosure: I have nothing against transsexuals and have never had an encounter with a transsexual except for that one time I had a pleasant conversation with a waiter/waitress at a transsexual Chinese restaurant in the French Quarter. The menu was limited and the food was disappointing. The waiter/waitress had some complexion issues.
