Sculptor apologizes, promises to fix Lucille Ball Statue

Stephen Kruiser on PJMedia.

Dave Poulin, the artist responsible for the Lucille Ball statue, says he is sorry, the statue does not represent his work, he is appalled as the public with the outcome and promises to replace it with a new statue at his expense.

The statue is privately funded and put up in Lucille Ball's hometown, Celoron, NY, a story of local interest, none of us knew about this until somebody posted a picture of Biden creeping on the Lucille Ball statue the way he did on Stephanie Carter wife of incoming Defense Secretary Ash Carter. Then everyone wondered, "Who in the heck is that?" And, "Is Biden creeping on unlikely victims in current events the new meme?" I cannot find the original photoshop, nor the original tweet, so I made a new one. The Lucille Ball statue and the Biden photoshop looked like this:

The artist says he's not happy with it either. So, didn't he see it before he gave it to them? Did he sculpt it blindfolded? Ordered it on Amazon? If it sucks, and you know it, why did you complete the transaction, and take the check?

I wonder if after he got the check he was heard to mutter "What difference, now does it make?"

I wonder if Slick Willie ever used that line to calm Hillary down. I'm sorry. I mean Mrs. Hillary Rodham Clinton, Esquire, de La Mancha, Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mother of Pearl.

The new statue is the old statue with the head knocked off and replaced with an upside down bronzed brown paper bag.

She was a comedian. She'd understand.

I dunno, either, but Titus is all for it.

Looks like a cross between the Swamp thing and Carol Channing.

Sculpt a new wig for it and retitle it,"Michelle says eat this." Make thousands of copies for every school cafeteria.

I thought I was well-acquainted with Ms. Ball's complete oeuvre, but I don't recall her ever having done a TV commercial for Geritol.

It's even worse with that growth on the right side of her face.

What a great sculptor, he can't sculpt faces and he can't sculpt hands, other than that he's great.
