I'm guessing the turtle has eaten the rest of the cicada. I have to say, I miss the Brood X Wall of Sound.
. . . or you could have tinnitus that sounds just like Cicadas, like I've had for the last 40 years 24/7.
I like box turtles, but I have not seen one this year.
