Takabisha roller coaster

Wyatt's first ride

1) soggy ground with water puddles
2) dog roaming around off leash
3) woman recording, face in phone stepping over the track
4) continuous runs with no checks after runs for changes in track or wheels creating by previous run

And yet everyone lived. What a great dad.

I went to a birthday party before I went to kindergarten and the girl had a train in the back yard.

The kid-size train went all around the back yard. It was not a roller coaster. All we kids rode the train, over and over and over and I said, "You're lucky. You got a train."

My grandparent's neighbor had a tall sliding board in the shape of giraffe and painted as one. It was a giant yellow giraffe in their back yard.

Is that wonderful, or what?

Those parents must really care.

Last week I reminded my older brother of this.

He said, "One day I went over there and slid down the giraffe."

I said. "I know. I was with you. You climb over the fence, I climb over the fence. You climb the ladder up to the giraffe's butt, I climb up the ladder to the giraffe's butt . You slide down the giraffe's neck, I slide down the giraffe's neck.

And then on the bottom again, I go, 'this isn't a giraffe. It's just a regular slide.''

With wooden cutouts of a giraffe attached to both sides. What a rip off!

And there went the whole wonderful fantasy of climbing up to a giraffe's butt and then sliding down a giraffe's neck. The whole giraffe-abuse thing poof gone.

And ever since then whenever I see a cartoon of giraffe being used for a sliding board I go, "You don't know what you are talking about!"

What an adorable family. They look like they're just starting out, homesteading somewhere rural. Briefly can see a house-like structure in process in the background. You could never build this contraption in a city! Someone might have too much fun.
