I was walking along the Mississippi a few weeks ago. It was very quiet. All of a sudden a bald eagle took off from a tree nearby, the branch cracking and I jumped a foot. When I would walk my dogs in Wisconsin out in the fields pheasant would scare the shit out of me.
A question for folks. I HATE seagulls. They are like rats in San Diego and all over the northeast as well. We were in Hilton Head recently and not a one. Any thoughts?
I bought a brand new car and being brand new took especially good care of it. At work I parked it way out at the end of the parking lot. One day I come out and apparently a flock of geese dived bombed my car. Every window was covered with at least two purple blobs of poo. You are wrong BB&H they have an enemy for life.

What is it about seeing a bald eagle that is just so amazing?
I saw one the other day! It had a baby prairie dog in its talons. *fix
I'm over Canadian geese. They have no enemies and they poop everywhere.
I think Canadian geese need to go back to Canada. American Canada geese, however, will always be welcome in my country.
