None of the comments that I read mention returning the cooked meat to marinade that soaked it when raw. They all talk about how much they like this woman and who she reminds them of. The channel is popular.

I've watched some of her videos. That's some serious poverty level cooking right there. We used the marinade from soaking raw beef and chicken (to make spiedies) to pour over the cooked meat. Decades of that practice, until it occurred to us one day that that might be a bit risky. Despite never getting sick, now everyone is afraid to continue, and we make a separate batch for use at the table.
I'm the only one in my family who will drink raw egg nog. I don't think the others are concerned about the raw part; it's just a yuck factor for them. But, hey, I've eaten a ton of gross stuff in my lifetime. Afterall, you've got to eat a pound of dirt before you die, right?
