"What movie do you quote/reference the most?"

"And what quotes do you use?"

Top Reddit comments...
Ace Ventura : Pet Detective
"If I'm not back in 5 minutes.... Just wait longer"

Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Hot Fuzz: "The Greater Good"

I like quoting Airplane! a lot.
Mom: "Is there anyone in the lane next to me?"
Me: "We have clearance, Clarence."

The Untouchables.

The Gospel According To Jimmy is classic.

And how you take on the Lefties.

You wanna know how to get Capone? They pull a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue.

He sends one of yours to the morgue, you send one of his to Huffington Post. He sends one of yours to Huffington post and you send one of his to Moveon.org. He sends one of yours Moveon.org then you send one of his to listen to one of Obama's speeches all the way through. He sends one of yours to listen to one of Obama's speeches and you send one of his to cover the Republican debates. He sends one of yours to the Republican debates and you send one of his to the Democrat convention. He se ))) bang (((

Unforgiven

"It's a hell of a thing, killing a man. You take away all he's got and all he's ever gonna have."

We say that all the time at our house when swatting flies. I got one of those electric fly swatters. Immense satisfaction.

One we use here a lot in Compton is from Blazing Saddles (1974):

"Hey, where da white women at?"

There are some other great ones from Blazing Saddles that a white man just can't allow to be attached to him in any way now days for fear of being hunted down and ruined. It's a brave new world, and much of that movie's dialog is considered a felony now days.

A safer one:

Hedley Lamarr: "My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives."

Taggart: "God darnit, Mr. Lamarr, you use your tongue prettier than a twenty dollar whore."

Monty Python's The Holy Grail. I don't need to repeat any of it.

Women never seem to quote movies, and don't find it hilarious.

That's why they are the angrier sex.

Yes! The Holy Grail. Anything Dennis the Peasant says in that. Plus, the Brave Sir Robin song.

Used to use this at work once and while. Now, with so many young people, no one gets it. In fact, its so much like typical 21st Century Bus-speak its a serious statement.
