This post was inspired by MamaM, whose very touching words from behind enemy lines inspired me.
That's a photo of George Floyd and the officer accused of killing him. You will note Officer J. Alexander Kueng is not white. You will also not he is nowhere near the size of George Floyd. As I noted in a comment, the autopsy said Floyd died from an OD of fenanyl and meth (when you read how, be ready to roll your eyes).
We must all ask ourselves, if we were the cop and had a guy that big freaking out, how do you subdue him?
Here's a link to the https://www.startribune.com/read-the-transcript-of-thomas-lane-s-body-camera-footage/571678791/transcript from the cop's body cam.
I'm also linking the https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2020/07/must-read-body-cam-transcript-tells-different-story-death-george-floyd/post from Gateway, which contains pertinent background material such as the fact the Minneapolis (or Mogadishu On The Mississippi, as the locals call it) DA withheld all this while the country was burning.
So, how does this relate to Mama's post? Simply that the Lefties, all of them, are lying; whether it is Kung Flu or race issues or the economy or anything else. When I was a lad 50 years ago, I read a piece in the local paper saying how the Establishment always lied if the truth didn't fit the narrative. That never rang true to me and I started watching the news a little more carefully and began to realize it wasn't the Establishment that was lying.
That was before I heard the line, presumably from Uncle Saul, "Accuse them of what we do". There are those who challenge it was Uncle Saul, but it certainly sounds like him.
Today, the hippies are the Establishment and they lie whether the truth fits or not.

Barbie has had a very hard life
Last Christmas I asked for what my Grandchildren might like for gifts. Knowing that at their young ages their wants and idols change almost weekly what they liked a in the Summer would be completely different by Christmas.
So....I was given a list and on it for my Granddaughter was Camping Barbie. Pretty cute and a toy that can be imaginatively played with.
Awwww. Barbie and Ken finally have a family. How sweet.. They have children and are enjoying the great outdoors in their camper van.
Then the awful truth dawned on me. Barbie is an abject failure in life. Barbie's whole life is a LIE! Over the decades that have passed since Barbie was foisted upon innocent little girls as a role model, Barbie has been unable to hold a job. I mean.....LOOK at some of the different careers she has had. She has been all sorts of things and seems unable to stick with any of them. Barbie must be the worst employee ever. From Police officer, Stewardess, Corporate executive, Astronaut and then descending into a measly Goffer. She just can't keep a job. Some role model.
BUT WAIT....it gets worse. After being canned from multiple jobs poor Barbie hits rock bottom. She is HOMELESS BARBIE. Not that that is a career, but you know. Water eventually finds its own level.
Fortunately, Barbie gets reconnected with her old boyfriend Ken and gets out of the gutter. Since the 1950's Ken also has had some hard times but didn't fall quite as low as Barbie. He joined a commune, moved to Oregon and got stuck in the 60's. Hippie Ken, while still a loser wasn't quite as much of a loser as Barbie. He could cook a mean BBQ for the commune.
Camping Barbie isn't what it seems. Barbie and Ken have hooked up, had a couple of kids and are now still homeless. Still losers. Although, it is more upscale than being shopping cart Barbie. Ken gets free of the commune before they serve the Kool-aid. We now have homeless Ken and Barbie plus two illegitimate kids in a nausea producing Pepto Bismol pink camper. At least Ken's BBQ skills can come in handy.
Things aren't always what they seem. I won't tell my Granddaughter.

WKRLEM: Sunday Bloody Sunday
I know I promised that I would never blog about this site at Lem's ever again but I can't help myself.
You see a bunch of people who were driven out returned to this place to place comments. I remember that Sunday when so many were banned and removed. Many found other places to comment. But some have returned to this site to lend their talents where they would not be appreciated. The moderation that goes on stops the free flow of comments that made the site an interesting place to post.
It is the same problem. Blogs run in cycles. I can't resist adding my two cents. Hide and watch.

More Tampa Bay area residents report seeing mysterious monkey!
Channel 8 News CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA) – More Tampa Bay area residents have reported seeing a mysterious monkey.
The monkey has been spotted at least four times in the past two weeks. Viewers previously took video of what is believed to be the rhesus macaque as it took a leisurely stroll through Safety Harbor. It’s also been spotted in Hudson Beach and Lake Tarpon
The most recent report places the primate in Clearwater. An officer from the Florida Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission happened to be in the right place at the right time.
The officer spotted the monkey at the Eddie C. Moore softball complex on Drew Street. He brought in other officers and experts, but, in the end, the monkey managed to escape.

St John the Baptist.
John the Baptist was a contemporary of Christ who was known for evangelization and his baptizing of Jesus Christ.
John the Baptist was born through the intercession of God to Zachariah and Elizabeth, who was otherwise too old to bear children. According to scriptures, the Angel Gabriel visited Elizabeth and Zachariah to tell them they would have a son and that they should name him John. Zachariah was skeptical and for this he was rendered mute until the time his son was born and named John, in fulfillment of God's will.
When Elizabeth was pregnant with John, she was visited by Mary, and John leapt in her womb. This revealed to Elizabeth that the child Mary carried was to be the Son of God.
John began public ministry around 30 AD, and was known for attracting large crowds across the province of Judaea and around the Jordan River. When Jesus came to him to be baptized, John recognized him and said, "It is I who need baptism from you."
Jesus told John to baptize Him anyway, which he did, whereupon the heavens opened, and the Spirit of God was seen like a dove. The voice of God spoke, saying, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."
John instructed his followers to turn to Christ, calling Him the "Lamb of God" and these people were among the first Christians.

"A high speed chase going through a school zone?"
What's going on here?
Reddit top comment: "It's got to be an old lady driving. She unknowingly leads 10 cops to her house and starts unloading groceries. She'll tell the cops it was a misunderstanding and she'll be free to go."

Famous blogger and partner arrested
New York Post, June 11. 2016 By Amanda Woods and Kenneth Garger
Two cruel cat hoarders were arrested for housing more than 60 emaciated felines in their tiny Queens home, cops said.
Amanda Marcotte, 39, and 42-year-old Anne Marie Cox kept the animals confined to “feces- and urine-soaked cages” inside their house on 118 Street near 135th Avenue in Jamaica, police said.
The pair’s mistreatment of the animals came to end Wednesday when the NYPD swooped in to arrest them.
Marcotte alone faces nearly 100 counts of animal cruelty charges, while Cox was hit with 14 counts,
Both claim that this was an example of police brutality and that cats lives matter. They simply chalk it up to the oppression of the patriarchy and vow to fight on.

Making a Clean Breast of the Situation!
I quit my job to breastfeed my boyfriend every two hours
A mom is breastfeeding her boyfriend — 20 years after having children.
Jennifer Mulford took time off from her job as a bartender to induce breastfeeding because she wants to start an adult breastfeeding relationship (ABR) with her boyfriend who preferred to remain anonymous as he is collecting government benefits.
Because she has not given birth to a baby recently, needed to “dry feed” every two hours to fool her body into thinking she is feeding a child so she starts producing milk.

A Holocaust metaphor.....Hollywood has no shame.
It isn't even vegan propaganda. It is against all food. What do these Hollywood mooks want us to do. Live on Soylent Green.
Wait a minute. Maybe that is what "Going Green" is all about!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reality Show Star revealed to be a total fraud!
I am totally disillusioned. I can't believe that I put my faith in this reality star. That I could let myself be fooled by a flim flam artist. Many people warned me that it was just an act. An attempt to get attention and make money. That I should scorn the reality show values and circus like atmosphere that was so inimical to our society. I have lost friends because of my support of this phenomena. People who once bosom buddies have become bitter critics and perhaps even enemies.
Today it was revealed that it was all a fraud. That I was hoodwinked. Fooled. Flim Flammed. I am devastated.

"Put the flower boy down, Michelle – he’s my husband"
How bra tycoon picked up a 'child' in front of 3,000 people in Vietnam before realising he was a married man, aged 46.
The Tory business tsar – nicknamed ‘Baroness Bra’ after being made a peer last year – was speaking at an entrepreneurs’ conference in Vietnam when the ‘boy’ ran up to her with flowers.
She picked him up for a cuddle and a selfie.
But then a woman sitting in the front row shouted: ‘Put him down – I’m his wife!’
Baroness Mone of Mayfair told The Mail on Sunday: ‘The guy was fine with it and the whole room was screaming with laughter.

Lark Rise to Chappagua
I spend a lot of time trying to find enjoyable TV shows to watch at night after a long tough day at work. Recently Amazon put a new show on Prime so it was free to watch. It is called "Lark Rise to Candleford." It is the story of two small communities in England at the end of the 19th Century. It is a warm and inviting show and a great way to wind down the day without gore and blood stained corpses that are the staple of TV these days.
What struck me about the show was the relevance to todays politics. Lark Rise is a small hamlet of tenant farmers barely living on subsistence wages from working in the fields of the squire. They count their pennies and the slightest error can send them off to the work house losing kith and kin. So they have to bow and scrape and make sure that they do not offend their betters.

"Couple in running car parked on N.J. street found dead..."
"....of carbon monoxide poisoning"
The couple were found early Friday in a 2002 Chevrolet Tracker with New York license plates... A pink handbag was resting on the hood.
Police have since debunked earlier reports that the couple was having sex when they died. The two were "fully clothed" and appeared to have been "sitting there talking, hanging out together," Detective Capt. Patrick Coffey told the Bergen Record.

The Case of the Salubrious Steak.
My dear Holmes,
It is your most humble petitioner, Inspector Lestrade. As you know it has been several years since I have last requested your assistance in the troubling matter of the disappearance of Lord Douchebag and over a year since we examined the obscene affairs of the odious Lady Chatterley and her grass stained lover. Today I must ask for assistance in an entirely different matter.

Her Majesty has specifically tasked the Yard with finding a way
to stop the re-election of the Marquis of Salisbury to another term as Prime
Minister. The Queen feels that there must be something in his background that
would disqualify him in the eyes of the public and if it were to be revealed
his support would fall away and a more genteel choice might be proffered. You
will be familiar with the recent contempt’s relating to the racial remarks made
by the Marquis in which he said that white constituents could and would never
be served by the election of a “black man.” This appalled her Majesty and all
and sundry toadies, lickspittles and garden workers. The Queen demands that the
discourse of her ministers be above approach and correct in all political jots
and tittles. The speaking of unvarnished opinion which might be true but which are
distasteful to a delicate sensibility must be eradicated and the speakers
silenced and shunned by polite society. She expects the members of the press
and her government to enforce this dictate or she will make her displeasure
felt in no uncertain terms.

The Ballad of Frank Crosetti
Yankee clubhouse April 4. 1962
Joe Pepitone walked into the clubhouse for the first time as
a New York Yankee. He was a bonus baby
and had torn up the minor leagues so the Yanks had brought him up to the show.
A Brooklyn Boy from Park Slope he was singularly unimpressed with most of the
living legends in the locker room. Mickey Mantle. Whitey Ford. Yogi Berra. They weren’t the kind of guys who
impressed him.
In his part of Brooklyn he was more impressed with the wise guys
who had the whole neighborhood in the palm of their hands. Guys like Carmine
the Snake and the Gallo’s from down President St. Those guys would kill you as
soon as look at you. So what’s the great shakes about some goober shortstop who
drank milkshakes and wanted to talk about Jesus? Or even Mickey Freakin' Mantle.
Mickey Mantle wasn't gonna pay his rent.
“Hey rook come over here” some crusty old guinea called out
to Joe. He looked over. The old man was dressed in a Yankee t-shirt, uniform
pants and sanitary socks. It was the old shortstop who was the third base coach
Frank Crosetti. The Crow had been with the Yanks since the Babe’s time. Cashed
a shitpot full of World Series check. He was known as a great fungo hitter,
stickler for the rules and an informer to the Manager. Nothing is worse to a
guy form Brooklyn than a snitch.
“Hey Coach” Joe said. Might as well make nice on his first
day. “What can I do for you pasian?” “I ain’t your paisan you stupid guinea. I
am the guy who is going to make you a True Yankee. I got my eye on you. You look
like a trouble maker.”

The Ballad of Frank Crosetti
Do you know who Frank Crosetti was? He was the ultimate “True
Yankee.”
He was the starting Yankee shortstop from 1932 until Phil Rizzuto
came up in 1941. When Phil went into the army he got the job back until the war
was over and then became a bench player. More importantly he became a Yankee
coach being the third base coach for many, many years. They said he waved move
than 10,000 runner’s home during his tenure at third base.
Most importantly he was the guardian of the Yankee tradition.
He had seen how it was done since the days of Ruth and Gehrig through DiMaggio
up to Mantle and the dog days after the 1964 collapse. He was the guy who said “Yankees
don’t do that.” Smart alecks like Jim Bouton and Joe Pepitone hated him and
mocked him to his face. He had very few friends. He was rigid and unlikable. He
insisted on a pure inviolable code of conduct that you could not broach. You did
it the “Yankee” way or you were a piece of crap.
