Is this the same crowd that loves Willie Whitewater, Gary Hart, the Kennedys, and His Poutiness?

Barack Kardashian, love it.

Very creative!

There are a lot of people out there who need a leader, someone to follow, someone to worship, someone to emulate, someone to give them direction and meaning in their soft little lives. Never weak but always strong, to protect and defend them, whether they are right or wrong, someone to open each and every door. Feh. The nauseating revelation is that these people now exist in numbers on the right. It ain't me, babe? Well, it turns out it is. Obama, twice, was no surprise, nor Clinton before him nor the disgusting Kennedy worship, but Trump? Donald effing Trump? Grow the fuck up! You parasites! Get your own lives, your own money, your own story. You can steal it from other people but it will never really be yours.

John McCain compared Obama to the Kardashians. He was right about that.

I have yet to see anybody of the Right get that wound up over The Donald.

Certainly not to the level of of the Kennedys, the Ozark Mafia, or the Messiah.

Nor to the level of Reagan.

People like his fight and the way he ties the media up in knots, but that's about the outer limit of it.

Some people need to calm down and realize the rest of us are cool if you don't like him, but you really need to take your Valium every day.

Trump enrages the elities, the media, the Rhino's, the conservative establishment intelligentsia and the libtards. For that he gets my support and gratitude.

If you want to burn something down you need somebody that likes to play with matches.

I hope not.

We need an Andrew Jackson.

lol that was logo switch was very perceptive.

If Trump loves America as much as Barack hates America, Trump might no be so bad.

Trump for King!

The collapse of "America’s moral ecology" happened under Kennedy. The press though was all too willing to cover it up. Nonetheless JFK is top rated as a president. Either that or Americans prefer their President's with extra holes in them.

Since America's been awfully good to him, you may have something there.

Not really. He's taken quite a shellacking over the years.

Anybody who knows the facts knows what a loser he really was.

Trump insulted a woman's looks. Sorry, that's Hitler territory...broadcasting the secret thoughts of the populous. Not cool.

Really? Do you spend any time in the comment sections at right wing blogs? It's not the exact same kind of hero worship, thou shalt not speak against the Lordism, that pervades the lefties but it's still pretty hysterical. It's more of a "these times call for a really stupid futile gesture" Animal House approach. I don't doubt Trump is smart, loves America (he frickin' better!), and is a capable executive (of large-scale real estate development which may or may not later result in bankruptcy) but he's basically a Democrat, a corporate crony Democrat. Hate the RINOs, embrace the DINO? What a great plan! And he's good with the media, for now, while it brings them ratings. But just wait until the rubber finally hits the road on the other side and the media closes ranks around the Democrat nominee.

Trump is bread and circuses. Pardon me, a circus. Don't be chumps.

No, that's politics. Sorry. The Lefties do much worse all the time.

Trump is bread and circuses. Pardon me, a circus

As I alluded earlier, a lot of people felt the same way about Andrew Jackson.

And Abraham Lincoln.

Matter of fact, I do.

Insta, Gateway, HotAir, Moonbattery, JWF, Power Line, among others.

As I say, people like his fight and how he ties the media in knots. I have yet to see anything like the blind adulation of the Kennedys back in the 60s, lines like, “If we could be one-hundredth as great as you and Hillary Rodham Clinton have been in the White House, we’d take it right now and walk away winners”, or heard anyone call him a Lightworker (whatever the Hell that is) or have their kids videotaped singing Hitlerian songs about him.

As I've said, you don't like him that's cool, but calm down. Nobody's called him the messiah yet.

deborah said...

I work alone, Meade.

Ed, meet me down in the debate thread.

edutcher said...

deborah, if you don't like the guy, that's your biz.

He's brought immigration front and center. No problem there.

As I've said before, I'm not wedded to anybody yet, but it amazes me how wound up people who don't like him get about him.

As long as he's useful, I got no problem with him.

He does to the Left what they do all the time. He Uncle Sauls the Hell out of them.

I just enjoy the show.

Ecology is the relationship of organism between each other and the environment.

Brock says morally norms are institutionalized set of moral demands.

Whose institutions? Our institutions that arise organically.

That's the thing about organics. they keep on going. There are thousands, millions of instances of invasive species including our own. Mutations. Deaths. Resurrections. Entire ecologic turnover and replacements. You're the one, Brock, who says moral institutions are organic. And that they are deteriorating.

Says Brock.

White old cisnormal male person says his organic moral institutions are deteriorating due to emphasis on importance of self.

Apparently our morals were better before we were taught to follow our bliss.

Brock says this when the nation is disrupted by a Party insisting on socialized medicine. Even while half the voting public gives serious attention to a anti-capitalist Socialist Democrat candidate. Even while immigrants are accepted in waves for egalitarian economic reasoning, even while actual ecology takes center stage of political concerns in the form of climate change discussions and carbon credit economics. Brock delivers a very pinched view.

And we've appreciated this logo the first five times it was shown. It signals another Ed Driscoll anti-Trump posting, a signal seen five miles away through fog.

Incidentally, let's be happy, I noticed Instapundit is A LOT BETTER on cell phone. The app is a beautiful thing. No annoying automatic page refreshing. Same thing with Drudge. Bothe are excellent read on the phone. On the laptop, not so much. They both drive up their numbers with automatic refresh. They both insist you read rapidly and get off or else be annoyed.

Just like Comcast: a business model based on annoying the piss out of their customers regularly.

I don't disagree, Ed. Illegal immigration needs to be discussed. But calling a woman ugly is beyond the pale. It's playing to oafs. Which is fine. It's politics, but I don't have to approve. He's the Perot of this campaign. If he's actually the nominee LOL.

edutcher said...

I have to agree with Cruz.

I really doubt it's him, but, as I heard somewhere the last couple of days, he's showing the rest how to win and Carson right now is his most apt pupil.

PS IIRC he didn't call Mrs Fiorina ugly, but remarked on the fact she's no beauty. He's walked it back and, considering the things I've heard out of Lefties, if that's the worst he says, it's thin gruel.

rcocean said...

Actually, he didn't call Cf 'ugly'. He [ insert facts that no one listens to].

Seriously, I get so TIRED of the dishonesty and faux outrage over nonsense. Y'know if you're well-to-do or just think things fine and dandy then just vote for Jeb or Hillary. Spare us the "Trump's just like Hitler" or "Trump hates wimmen" or "We need someone who's Presidential".

BTW, I finally figured something out. Why was Ryan made VP in 2012? Why is everyone pushing him for Speaker?

I was puzzled. He's just a bland Congressman from a safe Republican seat. Of course, I forgot how he took Biden apart in 2012? Oh wait, he didn't.

So why all the strange respect? Then I found out he's an open borders fanatic and all the right friends at the Chamber of Commerce and the Republican establishment.

So now it all makes sense.

Ryan is a prog in crypto-conservative clothing.

As if every so-called woman hasn't insulted Trump's looks.

Women need to get beyond their looks anxieties. Otherwise we get into "isn't Michelle just gorgeous?" territory.

I'd rather judge Fiorina on what comes out of her mouth than fantasizing about what goes in.

That abbreviation, "Cf"...what does it stand for, Carlifiorinium?

While we're on the subject of POTUS candidate's looks -- can we once and for all time mock and belittle all the women who fantasized about how dreamy and steamy Mr. Obama is/was? Look at all the bullshit trouble that fantasy led to politically. I guess I'd have to roll all the gay sullivanists into that category too for all their fawning and open-mouth yawning when it comes to political consequences.

deborah said...

Fine rc, he said something like look at that face, who would vote for that face. So much better. It's not faux outrage. I takes an ass to say something like that.

Also Trooper wrote a great post recently about how Ryan has voted for a lot of spending bills, so why are the conservatives pushing for him?

Writes the guy currently rerunning a Barbara Boxer advert on his blog as gospel truth.

Give me a break.

They say that Biden has one of the lowest IQs in the Senate. I don't believe it. In any case, nobody is stupider than Barbara Boxer. I'm sorry, I just cannot find anything nice to say about that woman. She bugs me personally like Rodham bugs April Apple.
