Show me a guy who is with a beautiful woman.....

New York Post August 15, 2025

David Justice former New York Yankee discussing his relationship with actress Halle Berry.

“There really wasn’t a lot of negative attention until I decided to leave her in 1996,” the ex-Yankees star said. “… She asked me to marry her after knowing me for five months. I said, ‘OK’ because I couldn’t say no … but I don’t know if my heart was really into it.

“… My knowledge and wisdom around relationships wasn’t vast. So I’m looking at my mom, and I’m a Midwest guy, so in my mind I’m thinking, a wife at that time should cook, clean, and then I’m thinking, ‘OK, if we have kids, is this the woman I want to have kids with or a family with.

“And at that time, as a young guy, she don’t cook, don’t clean, don’t really seem like motherly and then we start having issues.”

David famously divorced the beautiful Berry. When asked about the situation, he said, " Show me a beautiful woman and I will show you a guy who is tired of fucking her.

You're a Special Guy

I was perusing the offerings on my Amazon Prime and lo and behold I saw that they had the first season of The Apprentice. You know, the series that really introduced President Trump to the American People. It was filmed in 2004 and it was a revelation. New York never looked so beautiful. It was the Bloomberg era where the effects of the Guliani reforms were still evident. Very little crime. Much cleaner streets. Very few homeless people in your face. A paradise compared to the hell hole you see now.

You know how it worked. A bunch of aspiring businesspeople try to be picked as The Apprentice to work in one of Trump's properties. He was using it to promote all of his businesses and his triumphs like the skating rink. They showed his buildings. His airplane. Even the water company he had for a hot minute. But that wasn't what threw me for a loop. Now it was the grace notes.

I got emotional at the littlest things. A shot of the dirty water hot dog stand. One of the tasks was renting an apartment on the street where we had our last apartment in Brooklyn on 3rd Street. But I wasn't devastated until Trump took the winning team to Yankee Stadium to meet my personal hero, George Steinbrenner.

I have an important announcement.

I have long been a committed Catholic. I used to go to church every Sunday. Until this new pope came in and abandoned the Faith for socialist tripe. Traditional priests and cardinals have been fired and homosexual enthusiasts have been empowered to fill the churches with kid touchers.

Enough is enough.

I have decided to become a Muslim. It has a lot of things going for it. I don't have to shave or bathe. My wife and mother-in-law have to shut up and walk three feet behind me. I can protest and disrupt the Mass without any repercussions. I can discriminate against the homo's and the Karens of this world won't say shit.

So why not go with the winning side.

Allahu Akbar!

The rest of the Dream team

Left Field: Roy White

He was the best player on those old Yankee teams. A good hitter, baserunner and a spectacular fielder. He was all around one of my favorite players.

Centerfield: Jim Lyttle

He only had a short career with the Yankees but he was one of my favorites because I got his bat on Bat Day. I used it to play softball and I have it to this very day.

Right Field: Ron Woods

I mean just look at the guy! You can tell he was a very smart ball player.

Well at least he dove into the stands to catch the ball.

Just sayn'

Pitcher: Stan Bahnsen

A crafty right hander he was the best pitcher on some very bad teams. I saw him pitch his heart out game after game and lose do the ineptness of the rest of the team

He never gave up. A true Yankee.

I still see them......in my dreams......

Opening day is on March 30th when the Yankees meet the San Fransico Giants. Pretty ironic since the Yankees and the Giants were bitter rivals when they were both in New York City. The Yankees (then known as the Highlanders) were the upstart little team in the Polo Grounds and were scorned by the much more established and storied Giants led by the legendary John McGraw. Now they play in the regular season. Things have sure changed since I was a rabid fan.

When I think back to all the teams and players I rooted for my mind always goes back to the days of my yute. The team I really want to see? Well it is full of people you don't even remember.

First  Base: Frank Tepedino

A Brooklyn boy he came up to bigs after the great old teams were gone. He played for us for a few years and then became a New York City fireman. Served on 911. A hero in several respects.

Second Base: Horace Clarke

The real "Hands of Stone"....fuck Roberto Duran. Perhaps the worst second baseman ever to play for the Yankees. He is a true icon. In fact, these teams are always referred to as the "Horace Clarke Yankees." That's how I feel about them.

The Babe Abides!

“Hey Fadda long time no see.”
“I have been reading about your exploits George. I am very disappointed.”
“See! Nothings changed.”

RIP Ray Fosse!

Remember that All Star game when Charley Hustle ran into Ray Fosse and knocked him ass over teakettle to score a run in a meaningless game? All the old timey announcers praised Rose as a throw back to the old days of spit and vinegar. He played the way the old timers did. Plus he bet on the games like Hal Chase and Ty Cobb and Tris Speaker so Rose would fit right in with the Black Sox.

Still and all he really fucked up Ray Fosse. He had a rookie of the year season but most of that was before the All Star Game as he never quite recoverd. He was one of the bright young catchers of the 1970's but he never rose to the level of Thurman Munson or Carlton Fisk. He had a serviceable career though and was the announcer for the A's for a long time.

He passed at age 74 from cancer.

RIP Ray. I think you are heading upstairs because playing in Cleveland was punishment enough for you sins buddy.

A Rod must go...err...don't let him back in baseball

Noted schmuck and loser A Rod is in the news these trying to buy the Mets with that whore JLo.

The players are not going to stand for it. You see now that A Rod is trying to be an owner he wants to institute a salary cap. Here is a guy who ripped off teams for over $400 million and was a loser through and through. He could never win a championship until he came to the Yankees and ride on Jeter's coattails Lots of players see through his bullshit. From the New York Post:

“I hope to god he’s shouted out of every clubhouse he attempts to enter in this and future seasons,” former 13-year pitcher Brandon McCarthy tweeted Thursday. “Call him a self-serving liar and make him explain himself to a room full of his former peers if he wants broadcast content.”

Everybody hates A Rod. The Mets deserve him because they are also an overrated disaster waiting to happen. A Rod is shopping for big money guys to front him to take over the team the way that Jeter did with the Marlins. He has a couple of fools but not enough scratch to get it done. It looks like the loser Mets are going for about two billion. That's right. Billion. So it is out of reach for him.

Everybody should rejoice at that. Who needs to listen to his bullshit on a daily basis.

My All Time Fielding Team... Pitcher

The best fielding pitcher I ever saw was Jim Kaat of the Twins. He was like a machine. He didn't come to the Stadium a lot but I saw him make a couple of great plays in person. He was the best fielding pitcher I ever saw.

There was some other pretty good fielders that I could have picked like Greg Maddux and Bob Gibson. The one out of the box pick that I could have made was Jim Abbott the one armed Yankee pitcher. He was a surprisingly good fielder. But I had to go with the best.

My All Time Fielding Team ....Catcher

It wasn't even close as I have to go with Johnny Bench. He was an unbelievable backstop. I saw him throw out a lot of guys and he nursed a shitty pitching staff into the series with the Big Red Machine.

I could throw out some other great catchers like Pudge or Andy Etchebarren or even Jerry Grote but Bench is the Gold Standard.

I do however acknowledge that Mike Piazza holds the record for getting hit in the face with balls off the field.

Still Johnny Bench is the man.

My All Time Fielding Team: The Outfield

It's time for the outfield.

Left field is Roy White.

There are a lot of good left fielders. Yaz for one. Don Buford. Cleon Jones. Ichiro. You usually stuck your worst fielder in left. But I say Roy White play a lot of games. I went to every Yankee home game in 1967 and 1968. Roy White went out and got it. He would dive into the stands and pull home runs away from the opposition. He wasn't as big a name as some of these other guys but he was the best I ever saw.

In center field I have to go with Paul Blair.

Paul Blair was the best centerfielder I ever saw. Smooth as silk he never missed a play. I saw Mickey and Willie Mays but it was at the tail end of their careers. Mickey was hurt and Willie got old. Ken Berry was a damn good fielder as was Amos Otis and Ken Griffey Jr. But nobody was better than Paul Blair.

His best play? When he ran out to replace Reggie Jackson in the middle of the game and Reggie went to the bench and tried to kill Billy Martin. Now that was when baseball was real and not the faggot game it has become today.

Right field would be the one and only Roberto Clemente.

Most of America got to see what a great fielder he was in that famous World Series. But I knew it because I saw him kill the Mets all the time. My Dad was a big Mets fan so he would have the Mets on the TV while I was listening to the Yankees on the transistor radio. I saw Roberto murder them time and again. I even met him once.

I went to this party in New York with a friend of mine and his Dad who was a big shot in this company and they had this company awards dinner. They had a couple of ball players there for a meet and greet. There was Tommie Agee and Bobby Murcer and Roberto Clemente and Manny Sanguillen. Roberto didn't talk much. But he had these very pointy shoes so I bet he got all of the cockroaches in the corners.

Honorable mention to Dewey Evans who was a close second the fuck.

The Hot Corner

Talking about third basemen made me think of one of my all time favorite Yankees. Celerino Sanchez.

He was a dumb Mexican who was called up to play third base because Rich McKinney was a total bust. You see McKinney was traded to the Yankees from the White Sox. We gave up a really good pitcher Stan Banshen for this piece of shit. I was at the game where he made four errors. Four errors. It was my first visit to Fenway Park and I had to hide my head in shame because of this douche weasel.

So they promoted a Mexican to do the work that a white American didn't want to do. Play third base without making an error every other play. Celerino was pretty good. He made some nifty plays in the field and was an ok hitter. He had no power but he put the ball in play. He was very exciting in the field.

He was on of the first minor league players who came up and started out great that I followed with the Yankees. Many others followed. He lost out because the next year we traded for Graig Nettles and he was off the team. Celerino later had a long career in the Mexican league.

I still vividly remember when he came up from the minors. You can't get that excited about baseball anymore.

Damn shame.

My All Time Fielding Team: Shortstop and Third Base

I want you to realize that as much as I love the Yankees I have to be fair and pick the best fielders regardless of what team they are on. (Except the Red Sox or the Mets which doesn't matter because they suck anyway)

Best Shortstop: Ozzie Smith

There isn't even a close second. He is by far the best I have ever seen. Now there are a lot of slick fielders I have seen through the years. Mark Belanger. Gene Michael. Even that punk piece of shit Rey Ordonez. Still none of them could hold a candle to the Wizard of Oz. I once saw him turn four double plays in a double header in Shea Stadium. He was the real deal.

Best third baseman: Brooks Robinson

This is a tough one because I could have easily picked Graig Nettles. Or Clete Boyer. Or Celerino Sanchez. But I have to give the devil his due.

America got to see how good Brooks was in the World Series. Unfortunately I got to see him rob the Yankees all the time. He was the best day in day out. A gentlemen. Somebody you could respect and wished were on your team.

Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend

Toot’s Shors Saloon, June 19, 1962 (Joe DiMaggio walks into Toots Shore’s saloon, what he doesn’t know is that his ex wife Marilyn Monroe is sitting in the back)
Toots: Hey Joe, how ya doing….ah…Marilyn’s here…in the back… again ….just so you know. I know you saw her last week but I hope you can keep it calm and not upset the rest of my customers.
Joe DiMaggio:
Toots: I don’t want no trouble Joe, not like the last couple of times, can you try it keep it friendly. …. why don’t you just go up and say hello.
(Joe walks to the back to say hello and stands in front of her table)
Marilyn: (stands up and kisses Joe on the Cheek and says in a breathy sexy voice) Hi Joe. Did you miss me? (Marilyn sits down opposite Joe, and as she does her legs are really open. She is definitely not wearing any underwear, but she does seem a little worse for wear and she smells like a halibut)
Joe DiMaggio:
Toots: Of course he missed ya kid. Why wouldn’t he. You’re his girl.
Marilyn: I’m his girl? Shut up you dumb sheeny. Joe has a bunch of girls. So Joe. How have you been? Have you been seeing anybody lately? I hear you have been banging Durocher’s ex. I divorced Artie you know. I know I told you that already. That bastard. He put me in nut house. A nut house Joe.
Joe DiMaggio:
Toots: Yeah we heard about that keed. That’s a shame.
Marilyn: Everybody thinks I am crazy. I know I am just fine. Arthur used to make me go to literary parties where he sat around with all writers and playwrights. Most of them were fags but still some of them wanted to fuck me Joe. Everybody wants to fuck me. Or at least get a blow job. Artie used to make me pour drinks and let these jerks rub up on me. Even that fag Tennessee Williams tried to put his puny pecker in my mouth. It was horrible Joe.
Joe DiMaggio:
T
oots: Don't talk like that Keed. Joe don't want to hear about this shit. Your life is your life but he don't wanna hear this stuff. Everybody knows what you do. Show some respect.
Marilyn: Show some respect? What are you talking about you stupid Kike bastard. Nobody shows me any fucking respect. I am just a fuck toy. They just want to fuck me. And you know what Joe? They all fucked me. Ever since you left me I banged all of them. Even the faggots. Tennessee Williams. Eddie Albee. Faulkner. That Hemingway prick that couldn’t get it up. Artie even let Albert Einstein lick my snatch. They all used me Joe. Because you let me go. Why did you do that Joe? Why?
Toots: Ok keed, you poor dumb snatch don’t get excited.
Marilyn: (started to get angry as she began to queef and sounded like a mallard getting gang banged) You believe me Joe, don’t you? You know you were just one among many of the nasty pricks I had to swallow in my miserable fucking life. I fucked them all.   WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THAT YOU GUINEA COCKSUCKER. (Marilyn red faced and frantic suddenly flips from manic to depressed)
Joe DiMaggio:
Marilyn:  Still nothing to say…well screw you…you sad guinea motherfucker (Marilyn throws her drink at Joe in a half-hearted way, picks up her purse and storms out of the saloon)
Toots Shor: What a crazy broad man, forget about her Joe. Here's a towel.
Joe DiMaggio: Tennessee Williams banged my wife. Call Frankie Carbo and tell him I want to talk to the Gallo boys.
Toots Shor: Joe com'on you don't want to do that. These are fancy people Joe. They got pull. You just can’t whack them out.
Joe DiMaggio: DO LIKE I TELL YOU AND SHADUPP!

The Babe abides

"Hey Babe hows the Hot Dog?"
"Ummm uggle umm."
"Looks good. Hey how many have you had? Twenty? Jeeez Babe ya gotta be kidding me. You are gonna get sick."
"Egggree umm slurp slurp."
"I know you can handle it. Still you might take it easy. You don't want to end up with a heart condition where you can't eat any dogs anymore. That would suck."

One of the worst ideas in the history of the world

Major League baseball is talking about realigning its teams into three divisions because of the bullshit corona virus. They say it will cut down travel and the season will start in July. Doing away with the American and National leagues the three divisions will look like this:

EAST
  • New York Yankees and Mets, Boston Red Sox, Washington Nationals, Baltimore Orioles, Philadelphia Phillies, Pittsburgh Pirates, Toronto Blue Jays, Tampa Bay Rays, Miami Marlins
WEST
  • Los Angeles Dodgers and Angels, San Francisco Giants, Oakland Athletics, San Diego Padres, Arizona Diamondbacks, Colorado Rockies, Texas Rangers, Houston Astros, Seattle Mariners
CENTRAL
  • Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox, Milwaukee Brewers, St. Louis Cardinals, Kansas City Royals, Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Indians, Minnesota Twins, Atlanta Braves, Detroit Tigers
Why do we need to do this? Why do we need to do away with the history and tradition of the game?
What will this do the statistics? Why WHY WHY!!!!!!!!!!

This is the worst idea in the history of the world. If they are going to restart just do it the way we have always done it. They are talking about nobody in the stands so what does it matter?

The Babe is rolling over in his grave.

RIP AL Kaline

There were a lot of guys who killed the Yankees back in the day. Some of them you hated like Yaz and Rico and Denny Mc Clain.

But some guys you respected and wished were on your team. Brooks Robinson. Boog Powell. Joe Rudi. Frank Robinson. Willie Mays. Willie Mc Covey. Willie Stargel. Most of all there was Al Kaline.

A great player. A class guy. A real gentlemen.

The best praise I can give him is that he would have made a great Yankee.

They don't make guys like Al Kaline anymore.

Rip Al.

The Babe Abides

"So keed I hear you are going to help me with my autobiography?"
"That's right Mister Ruth. I am your ghost writer."
"Well that explains the sheet. I don't like to hang around with people who wear sheets. Fuckin' Ty Cobb is always wearing his when he was smacking around the nigra clubhouse attendants. Plus why did you cover all of your face except for that stupid freaking mustache?"
"It's a family heirloom. I am going to leave to my grandson so he can wear it some day. He is going to be a famous writer too!"
"Sure thing keed. Let's get started."

When a TV show uses a real persons name for a fictional character.

So last night I was minding my own business watching the stupid Chicago shows when I burst out laughing. You see on Chicago PD  they had a character who played a corrupt drug dealing cop. His name?

Jake Gibbs..

You know the old Yankee catcher from the 1960's. He was the transition between Elston Howard and Thurman Munson. I remember talking to him on the first base line one game in the late sixties. Just like the kid in this commercial. I got one of his bats at Bat Day.

Jake was a great all around athlete. A star quarterback at OLe Miss he was named to the All American team and was SEC player of the year in 1960. He is in the college football Hall of Fame. Jake decided to play baseball even though he was drafted by both the Cleveland Browns and the Houston Oilers of the old AFL.

This commercial brings back a lot of memories. Jake Gibbs. Steve Hamilton. Roy White. Hector Lopez. All of my favorites from the old Yankees of the Horace Clarke era. They were losers but we still loved them. It was inbetween the Mickey Mantle Yankees and the Billy Martin Yankees. The commercial is amazing too! Imagine promoting a boy and his Dad flying away to see a ball game! There would be a revolt and a protest because it wasn't a girl or the kid wasn't gay or transsexual. Simple traditional love of the game would be demonized. Along with a gasoline company. Retarded Swedish girls would run into the commercial and scream "How Dare You!"

The world was a simpler place when Jake Gibbs was squatting behind the plate. Why did some dumb ass TV show have to soil his name? Is nothing scared?
