Basic bitch....If it's the remote I can relate. That's the last thing I want getting lost or misplaced inside a car so I never use them.

It looks like a nice van. The only thing my old Civic has over it is that it can get around corners faster and way down the block before the more determined big cars are in my rear view mirror again.

We never got an entertainment center in a car. We considered one when we got a Pilot in their first year of production. We just couldn't justify the cost to ourselves.

I have a new CR-V. It's a Civic that sits up high. No room for entertainment, but I don't have children to entertain. What I like is that it gets 33+ mpg, even with my commutes across Houston and its traffic.

I'm def not interested in an entertainment center...now that's decadent! But I am considering, as a single individual getting this minivan, 2014. So I'd get probably the EX with the power driver's seat.

Good mileage, smooth ride, report of better handling than a Highlander, and kind of a turtle shell. And good to haul people around, of course.

deborah, Buying used cars 3-5 years old is wise. Of course, it's gotta be the right car. Never buy a used vehicle w/o a CarFax report.

Thanks, Nick, I won't. Yeah, I was going to buy an older Toyota, but then I started thinking about backup cameras, bluetooth etc. I drive a 13 y/o Camry. She's been a good old gal, but I make too many long distance trips. She has 224,000 miles.

Were I to purchase a Honda Odyssey I would get a vanity plate that read "Homer's". That's just how I roll.

Red Nissan Sentra-Red Racer
greenish blue Ford Taurus wagon-Lilypad
White Camry-Pearl

1952 Chevrolet panel truck - Old Betsy.

1978 Audi Fox - Ol' Bluey. Which is what it did, eventually.

lol Audi, eh? Fancy.

I paid $1,200 for that Audi in 1984. It was a great car, honestly, it was as good a little two door sedan as I ever owned. It paid for itself in fun and other ways and even though it blew up while I was doing 85 passing a semi on a two lane road, it is gone but not forgotten. Great car.

Now, nothing but Jap cars for me - Toyotas or Honda.

I wish you had mentioned that earlier, you know, before I discovered that I like women...
