When you consider how Hanoi Jane sold her Workout as the reason she looked good, it's nice to see her nailed for it.

That "Feel the burn" stuff was the worst thing you could tell people.

The work out videos are her only positive contribution to society. The rest is just hacktress, nepotism (inherited her career and married her money) and definitely silicone with a foul, entitled Grande Dame attitude and politics to match. Appalling and awful but fascinating to watch. She's even more oblivious than Mrs. Clinton.

There are 2 people in this world that I would stab on sight.

Hillary and Jane.

Burns' Vietnam did a segment on Hanoi Jane. They ran her quotes and did not sugar coat them. She is a vile person.

Sad in real life that women who eschew "having work done" still respect this bitch.

What, exactly, is to respect? What did she do positive that wasn't given to her?

The world will be a better place when Jane Fonda passes because people are still upset that she never recanted her antics. Those people will be able to bury those hateful feelings with her. When she dies, a little bit of unrequited hatred will die with her.

The reason Jane Fonda "never looks back" is because she did some pretty shameful and unnecessary things. As someone on Althouse once pointed out, by 1972, practically everyone in Hollywood but John Wayne and her own father were against the Vietnam War. But she -- and only she -- had to go to Hanoi to rub things in certain people's faces.

Was it "daddy issues"? Yes, I think so.

Ken Burns bio on the Vietnam war is excellent.

I'm sure he wanted to, but in the last segment, he wasn't able to white-wash the horror show and cruelty of the Communist North Vietnamese.

Re-education camps were real. jane Fonda should be forced to die in one.
