That reminds me of a show I used to watch many years ago: Sam and Friends, from the '50s.

I just want to express my disappointment at the banishment of Crack from the blog roll. I understand the reasons, which do not have to be rehashed, but Meade has said much worse in my opinion, yet Althouse's blog remains on the roll. This doesn't strike me as fair.

From whence did the notion of "banishment" arise?

ban·ish
1. To force to leave a country or place by official decree; exile.
2. To drive away; expel:

For the record, I am not suggesting that Meade also be banished or the link to Althouse removed. I like to hear everyones point of view.

Crack wasn't going to stop until he was banished.

That's what he does.

If the banishment hadn't happened a few days ago, Crack would have forced the issue at another time in the near future.

There is nothing preventing you from reading Crack's point of view. You know how to find his weblog.

Other than the broken record technique employed here with the concept of banishment being played and replayed, I've yet to see any reasonable evidence indicating banishment to be the case. At best, it appears as if "The Macho Response" is no longer showing up on "My Blog List".

Maybe the issue was not enough levity.

On the subject of levity:

Michael Haz, I owe you big time for this one. Similar to Chip Ahoy's method of giving cards to others for distribution, this post served as my valentine card to MrM, who laughed the laugh I love through the entire thing, from start to finish, connecting our hearts together with the remembered joy of knowing and living with a dog who looked and acted just like this one.

It turned out to be better than any card I could have bought or made for him, and it popped-up just in time.

@MamaM - Wonderful! The intent of posting the video was to cause laughter at the end of the working week. That it happily reminded you and your husband of your dog is frosting on the Valentines Day cake.

Michael H - I sent it to a couple dog loving friends and one wrote back and said she laughed so hard she almost peed ... so I would take that as a "Score!!"

;-)
