Was this shown already? Man, try to get a word in edgeways around this place sometimes.

See the reason that is tan tanto ridiculoso is because there are lines of proofreaders at every step, levels of overseers, a guy writes it on paper first, checked, double checked, triple checked, checked rechecked all over the place up and down, back and forth, the full bureaucratic panoply applied to major state project, then drawn on the stone, checked, rechecked, that all over again, before anyone takes a nick at it. And it is 90% formulaic to begin with.

Possibly 82%.

Chip, please, who is the author of the book you once showed, Egyptian Treasures?

Chip Ahoy said...

Harry N. Abrams
ISBN 0-8109--2170-7

Egyptian Treasures

(from the Collections of the Brooklyn Museum)

Lie berry of Congress catalog card number 78-73468

Before both abebook and amazon showed several and now they do not. I imagine they were snapped up by wise and fast investors having read my earlier post.

It could happen.

No wonder I couldn't find it. I think Freeman said she got it for a dollar, or so. Thanks.
