I really want to do this, but I've already gone overboard for this occasion, and I need time to do it right - like about a month. I have another opportunity in late March for a birthday, and maybe I'll try it then. The girl is turning 21, an artist, and very avant-guarde, so I'll be able to go crazy with it.
The more I think about it, the more this is a fantastic gift for some people I know. It's just incredibly special and something you can keep forever.
Imagine having such a thing made by a loved-one who has passed, and being able to take it out, hold it and see the handwork in it. I hope to be a passed loved-one someday. It's one of my goals.
