Wisconsin Death Trip?

So Trump is traveling and campaigning in Wisconsin. I am only familiar with Wisconsin by my interaction with Cheeseheads on the Internet. There are wonderful people like Michael Haz and Nick Spinelli. There are the dregs of humanity like the Evil Blogger Lady and her pet troll the Lawnboy. So it is your basic mixed bag. Much like anywhere I guess. Just with more cheese.

The interesting thing is that the Donald is eschewing additional debates. He feels he has debated more than enough. Everybody has seen him answer the gotcha questions and the ambush videos that people like Bloody  Megyn Kelly and Charo from Univision que up to screw with him. He takes them in stride and gives the same circular evasions as any politician will in the circumstances. Nothing new there. But there is something new in how Trump is handling the media.

MSNBC Thursday night massacre

"MSNBC has formally decided to cancel three programs -- "The Cycle," "Now with Alex Wagner" and "The Ed Show" -- as part of a larger effort to shift its daytime lineup away from opinion programming, network sources told the On Media blog on Thursday."
Alex Wagner and Ari Melber, a "Cycle" co-host and MSNBC's chief legal correspondent, will remain with the network. Ed Schultz, the host of "The Ed Show," will leave the network, as will "Cycle" co-hosts Abby Huntsman, Krystal Ball and Toure...

The cancellations, which have been expected for some time, come as NBC News chief Andrew Lack moves to refashion the liberal cable channel as a straight-forward news and politics offering, at least in daytime. In September, MSNBC will add a 5 p.m. program hosted by "Meet The Press" moderator Chuck Todd, while Brian Williams, the former "Nightly News" anchor, will serve as the network's breaking news and special reports anchor...

The changes are also an effort to correct steep ratings declines, which have plagued the network for years.

MSNBC

Wha Wha What just happened? Punked. And didn't even know it. That's the thing about interviewing; you have to listen to the answer and allow the answer in formulating the next question, not formulate the next question while the person is answering.

"Can you imagine Mitt Romney and Kanye West as in-laws?”

It appeared as if MSNBC's Melissa Harris-Perry and her guests could not quite figure out what to say about the Romney's family picture, in which Mitt Romney is holding his adopted black grandson.

So, they made stupid comments, giving my side a rare, legitimate opening to call them on hypocrisy and other nasty things, they themselves, constantly, I mean night and day, attribute to tea party and the GOP... you know the drill.

Three kings

"In a segment on possible Tea Party contenders for the Republican Party's nomination in the 2016 presidential race, Hayes used a graphic (above) that portrayed Cruz, Paul, and Rubio as kings in a deck of cards--and that, rather conveniently, spelled out the initials "K K K." (Hayes did not say the word "kings" during the segment.)
...There is a hazard, of course, in taking offense too quickly at bad jokes, and there is always the possibility that Hayes was unaware of the graphic, or even that the KKK reference was entirely coincidental. However, given Hayes's past record, and the constant obsession of fellow MSNBC anchors with making false accusations of racism against the Tea Party and the Republican Party, Hayes has arguably exhausted the benefit of the doubt."
If this was intentional, I hate to see this kind of thing in someone like Hayes. I enjoyed him very much the times he appeared on Bloggingheads. I had hopes for Maddow, back in the day, but she immediately  launched into a mini-me impression of Olbermann. I guess it's the way of the media world...if you sign with MSNBC, you are expected to play to the masses more than the average info-tainment outlet does. Was this a back-handed KKK reference or an innocent graphic?
