Canadian Comedian fined and College "Privilege Board" at Appalachian State

Canadian comedian Mike Ward was fined a whopping $42,000 by Quebec’s Human Rights Tribunal for jokes he made about a disabled boy.

Appalachian State University students must walk past a “privilege board” denouncing their white, male, able-bodied, Christian, or cisgender privilege any time they enter the Student Union.

The bulletin board is located in Plemmons Student Union (PSU), which the school calls “the centerpiece of the Appalachian campus,” and was apparently put up by a student group last semester, but has been allowed to remain in place to date.

Who among us doesn't like to laugh at disabled children. The mother of that boy must have been on the rag...........Your chances of being ridiculed or harassed increase astronomically when you're a member of a minority. That's why it's important to keep importing non white immigrants. America will become a better country when white people become a minority and get screwed over.

Dear readers,

Please be informed that in Canada making a joke about Lem's spelling is a hate crime. You have been warned.

See, Canadians aren't communists, the comedian was only fined, not sent to a labor camp!

Disabled children are the only ones who should be bitching about someone's privilege, and then only the ones living in Somalia.

Thanks Rabel. It's a big turnoff to people. I gotta check everything.

The punishment is the process (although a $40K fine does sting).

Just out of curiosity, does blogger have spellcheck for original posts as it does for comments?

Google says that it does.

Long ago, in a comment criticizing someone for grammar smack, I misspelled grammar. I still occasionally wake up in a cold sweat from the ensuing nightmares.

There's something terribly wrong about criticizing white privilege at Appalachian State University.

Make America a better country: Import militant bigots and selectively punish wrongspeech.
Yeah, that'll do the trick.

Ravel I'm using the new Windows browser edge. It might have something to do with that.

Everybody should click on the link Rabel just put up. LOL

The answer to your question is... that's how intimidation, if not pushed back, leads to bullying. I guess.
