The Expanse: another show I would recommend.

We are always looking for series to binge watch and we found a pretty good one in the Amazon Series "The Expanse." Originally a product of the SciFy channel it was picked up by Amazon Prime and is available for free. It is pretty good.

Based on a series of science fiction books it posits a three way conflict between Earth, it's militaristic independent Martian Colony and the slobs and lowlifes of the Belt who are people exploited by mining companies plundering the resources of the Asteroid Belt. It starts a little slow so you have to give it some time. But the political machinations and the real life parallels to human history are very interesting.

My favorite character is Amos who is a half a retard killing machine. Always brings it to any scene he is in.

Check it out. Highly recommended. Especially Season 3.

Here is the perfect new series for youse guys for the Christmas Season!

I give it top marks. It is engrossing. And gross. Just what you need as an antidote to cloying Holiday Cheer.

You just have to have Hulu. Most people who cut the cord have Hulu because you can get the regular channels ABC, NBC and CBS with a little add on so you don't have to get the whole cable package. Add in the Amazon Fire Stick with the pirate downloads and you can see every show and every movie as soon as it comes out in the privacy of your own home.

You get to treat the cable company like a harlot. So to speak.

Get Shorty...or get EPIX and watch one of the best shows on television

Season three of "Get Shorty" has dropped and I highly recommend

Loosely based on the Elmore Leonard novel this show is the shit. It's about a couple of hit men who steal a movie script from one of the people they kill and start to produce movies with drug cartel money It is hilarious and it stars Ray Romano in a surprisingly well acted turn as a sleazy movie director. Irish comedian Chris O'Dowd is great as the protagonist and you have to see how he worms his way through the miasma that is Hollywierd.

It is on EPIX which might be on your cable package. I am watching it on the Firestick which is one of the best investments I ever made since I cut the cord and don't have cable anymore.

Check it out. Highly recommended.

Do what I did...cut the cord

Cable companies freak out after 1 million cut cord in 3 months

Cord-cutting, or at least the speed at which people are ditching pay TV, is on track to be the biggest upset of the year. There’s finally a collection of cheap-ish streaming services widely available, and as you’d imagine, people are jumping ship from cable as fast as humanly possible. The latest bad data points come from the Q3 earnings of all the big cable companies, which are mostly now public. DSLReports added up the damage, and it makes for bad reading if you’re a cable company exec.

That time Gilbert Gottfried got Adam West to talk about an orgy

By Barbara Hoffman New York Post, Page Six October 28, 2016
“I’ve always been kind of an idiot savant,” Gilbert Gottfried tells The Post. “Well, more idiot than savant. I was one of those people who always remembered the names of character actors and makeup men.” That gift goes back to elementary school in Brooklyn, when his teacher threw out initials, asking students to name the celebrity — as in BH for Bob Hope. One day the initials were “OS,” and young Gilbert shrieked, “Onslow Stevens!”
“He was an old character actor,” says Gottfried, 61, “but everybody turned around and looked at me, like, ‘What the hell is he talking about?’ ”
