Frustrated, armed with ropes, activist group plans to pull down Andrew Jackson Monument.

A New Orleans activist group is threatening to pull down the city's most recognizable statue in response to what members claim are unreasonable delays in removing four other monuments honoring Confederate leaders and a 19th century white supremacist militia.

Take 'Em Down NOLA says it will attempt to topple the statue of Andrew Jackson during a protest later this month in Jackson Square. Legal delays have kept the other statues -- honoring Confederate President Jefferson Davis, Confederate generals Robert E. Lee and P.G.T. Beauregard, and a militia known as the White League -- standing nine months after the City Council authorized their removal.  

"We're going to go to Jackson Square. We're going to put ropes around Andrew Jackson and we're going to take him down off his pedestal," Take 'Em Down organizer and longtime civil rights activist Malcolm Suber said during a forum the group held Thursday.

The demonstration, scheduled for Sept. 24, will come a few days before judges on the U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeals are scheduled to hear arguments over whether to lift an order that halted the removal of the monuments.

"The key is we're not going to wait," Take 'Em Down organizer Angela Kinlaw said. "The city has taken plenty of time to make a decision. But the people are ready to move."

Governor Haley is of course famous for surrendering to political correctness by banning the Confederate Flag and using the State of the Union response to attack the leading Republican candidate for President instead of concentrating on opposing President Obama's agenda. Because the Confederate Flag and statues of Civil war generals are the real problem. Governor Haley hates Trump because she is in favor of uninhibited immigration and the transfer of jobs of Americans to immigrants who are either illegal or under bogus visas. She knows that the Rent Boy will open the floodgates even more than Obama as he was the principal Republican stooge in the Gang of Eight.

Statues of Confederate Soldiers to be removed in New Orleans.

(CNN)A large crowd broke into cheers Thursday after the New Orleans City Council voted to remove four monuments to the Confederacy from prominent places in the city.

The 6-1 vote means officials will take down statues of Gens. Robert E. Lee, P.G.T. Beauregard and Jefferson Davis, President of the Confederacy. An obelisk dedicated to the Battle of Liberty Place will also go.

It's one of the strongest gestures yet by an American city to remove symbols of Confederate history, following a trend in many Southern states to take down the Confederate battle flag.

Taliban demands destruction of historical monuments!

The Atlanta chapter of the NAACP and Congressman Hank Johnson are demanding the destruction of the monument dedicated to Confederate Historical figures at Stone Mountain in Georgia.

The monument which is reminiscent of Mount Rushmore is apparently unacceptable to the racialist who feel that symbols of the Confederacy are the reason why so many youtes are killing each other on the streets of America. Of course Congressman Johnson is the same brianiac who was worried about putting too many troops on Guam because the island might capsize.  These are the people who are leading the charge to disappear all symbols of the Civil War regardless of their historical significance.

Once they succeed with this they will move on to removing the American Flag and the monuments to people like Washington, Jefferson and Madison who were slave holders.

They are the true American Taliban.

During the Fourth of July weekend, 48 people were wounded by gunfire in 34 separate incidents in Chicago. Seven homicides also were reported during the same three-day period last year, and this year’s total in the nation’s third-largest city nearly matched the combined numbers for New York (one), Los Angeles (three) and Houston (five) — the other cities that rank in the top four in population.

Journalist and pundits are at a loss to explain the violence since there has not been a Republican in office for fifty years in Cook County and no one has seen a Confederate flag nor has a Bush ever held office in Illinois. So some see causation as a question mark.

A special task force has been created by Mayor Rahm Emmanuel to determine what is the root cause of this unending violence against the community. His task force includes such distinguished Americans as Paul Begala, Lannie Davis, Chris Matthews, Rachel Maddow, Whoppie Goldberg, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. Their preliminary suggestions are thought to include such actions as banning the use of the Confederate Flag in Video games, taking the Dukes of Hazzard off of TV Land, ending the stop and frisking of young black men, taking more police off of the street to avoid police brutality complaints and the banning of vanilla ice cream cones which are a sure indicator of "white privilege." If these changes are put in place it would seem to be just the thing that has to be done to end the violence.

The people that brought you the demonstrations that resulted in two New York City police officers being murdered are at it again.

A group that titles itself "Disarm the NYPD" is having a flag burning Festival in Fort Greene Park here in Brooklyn.

Quoting the story in todays New York Post:

Organizers say the rally is a response to Charleston shooter Dylann Roof because he is a “product of a consistent pattern of state-sponsored terrorism and radicalized dehumanization in America.”

They originally intended to burn just the Confederate flag, but they’re now taking aim at the stars and stripes as well.

“The Confederate flag has long been a symbol of white supremacy, slavery, and Jim Crow,” the group wrote in a Facebook post. “However, the Confederacy lost the war, but the American flag has unceasingly, from the first day it was ever hung, represented the exact same thing.”

“Disarm” member Carlos Cabeza, 21, said the group didn’t even bother asking for a permit from the Parks Department, knowing they wouldn’t be approved.

The activists intend to set fire to a large American flag, as well as a Confederate battle flag, he said. They’re also encouraging others to bring along their own flags to burn.

“We think these flags symbolize white supremacy and racism that is embedded into the American society and culture,” Cabeza said.

So the protests that started with the Confederate Flag are now morphing into the burning and desecration of the American Flag. It is all the same to these jokers.
