He has now apparently staked what's left of his career on hating Trump. Here he continues his epic rant against Donald Trump. He is one sad Italian-American. This post was inspired by reading all the "me too" comments over at Althouse talking about flying and driving to see the total eclipse of the sun next August. I know that half of you want to forget that site exists so you can skip that.

Back to the video. I think I've just scratched the surface with my "rock bottoms for Rodham" series. I seriously wasn't looking for this one, it just spoke to me from my YouTube sidebar. There must be dozens of others.

Here's a tall order for MamaM if she's reading this. I recall reading her rather brilliant take on the difference between a narcissist and egoist and how Trump was one but not the other. I wish someone could find or link to that.

The left have wasted no time in recording their first anti-Trump screeds. See Fiona Apple's "hate song" to Donald Trump. Last time around, with Reagan, it took a bit longer -- a year or two in fact. Remember Gil Scott-Heron's "B-Movie" (1981) which mentioned Reagan as Ronald Ray-Gun?

I really don't much care for "modern" makeovers of American holiday classics, but this one caught my ear. Many such recordings feature warbling divas trying to out-warble each other -- much like the endless "improvements" on the national anthem.

When I first heard it -- without knowing a thing about Zee Avi -- I thought that she must be Russian and had given it a traditional Russian folk arrangement -- a sort of "Those Were Days My Friend" lilt. I also thought I could hear Bertold Brecht's "Three Penny Opera."

Waters was born in 1943 and was a teen between the years of 1956 to 1963.

Roger Waters closed out a huge nostalgic boomer fest in Indio, California last weekend. His newest contribution to entertainment was an out-sized inflatable pig festooned with Trump insignia. The noted anti-Semite also took time to excoriate Israel and to heap praise on Palestine, which apparently caused some backlash in the audience:

While Waters's anti-Trump stance elicited cheers, albeit not universally, his statement on Israel drew a more muted response with some fans clapping but others booing and at least one proudly waving an Israeli flag as a counter-protest.  

Waters is well-known for his criticism of Israeli policy and in 2013 came under fire from Israel supporters for putting a Star of David on the inflatable pig. link
