Of all the bad guys in the Mob and there were a shitpot full of them.....one of the absolute worst was Don Vito Genovese.

He was Mafia royalty. Hooked up with Lucky and Meyer he was part of the tight group of young guns who killed Masseria and Marranzano and took over the Mafia. Underboss to Luck Luciano he was not a ladies man. He was one ugly fuck.

His first wife died of tuberculosis and he had his eyes on a new one. Anna Petillo who was already married. Who was also his cousin. So he had her husband strangled. Married the grieving or not so grieving widow. That was the way of the Mob. They got what they wanted.

How does this tie into the present day? Why the Real Housewives of New Jersey one of Spinelli's favorite shows.

The original show starred the two Manzo sisters who were reportedly mobbed up. They were two sisters who married two brothers. The brothers were partners in the Brownstone Catering hall in Jersey which is a big money maker and probably a big laundromat for the boys. Their dad ended up in a trunk of a car.

The two sisters were Caroline and Dina Manzo. Dina was the hot one. She divorced her husband Tommy Manzo and quit the show after the first season. I guess the heat was two much for her. She came back a year later but only lasted a year. She doesn't talk to her sister. It seems we know the reason why.

You see a mob button man broke into her house and beat the shit out of her and her fiance. The guy got a half price wedding at the Brownstone for doing it. Only thing is somebody dropped a dime and now they are indicted. 

Just like Don Vito. Only he didn't have the balls to finish the job and the rep to shut everybody up.

Art imitates life. It just that things are not the way it used to be. Even in the Mob.

Brooklyn eatery with mob ties mysteriously shot up

A mob-linked Brooklyn restaurant may need to check its macaroni and gravy for shell casings after someone shot up the eatery’s facade early Sunday to send a “message” to its owners, according to a law-enforcement source.

An employee arriving for work at Carroll Gardens’ Marco Polo Ristorante just before 8 a.m. found the front window and door riddled with bullet holes, police said.

Co-owner Marco Chricio, whose dad opened the eatery, told The Post that the restaurant was caught in the crossfire between battling gangs from neighboring Gowanus and Red Hook housing projects, but cops said the restaurant itself was the target.

“It’s obviously some kind of message,” a law enforcement source said of the shooting.

Police recovered 10 shell casings across the street in front of the Body Elite gym.

A worker there said surveillance video captured by the fitness center shows a lone, hooded man on the stalking around outside around 6 a.m. when the bullets started flying.

The 35-year-old trattoria is a mainstay for players on both sides of the law — judges and attorneys regularly sup at the Court Street institution, but its mob ties run deep.

Famed ‘Sopranos’ strip club is shut down

The New Jersey strip club featured as the seedy hangout on HBO’s “The Sopranos” went bust in real-life over the weekend

Satin Dolls in Lodi was forced to sideline its naked ladies — and cease all other live “entertainment” — under a court order that shutters the jiggle joint for allegedly hiding money from the state, sources said Monday.

The strip club on Route 17 — which appeared as the “Bada Bing” in the hit mobster series — must either sell or transfer its liquor licenses by Jan. 3, according to a court order filed by state Attorney General Christopher Porrino and the Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control.

Owners of the nightspot allegedly hid cash from the state and allowed reputed mob associate Anthony “Tony Lodi” Cardinalle to run the place, according to the court order.

This is based on the famous hit on Larry Gallo by Carmine the Snake and couple of other mooks in the Profaci crew that started the first Gallo war.

Puzo lifted a bunch of historical occurrences to flesh out the Godfather movies. He was well versed in the history of the Mob so he was able to right a great story by fictionalizing the truth.

President Trump needs to take a page out of the Snakes play book. Invite the press over. Then slip the garrote over the neck and choke them out. It's the only way.

Plus he donates his used Trump Toupees to Habitat for Humanity. I think they use them to thatch huts or something. The rest of contributions would also be very interesting. We need to humiliate him if his cheap or out him if he ever gave to a cause that subsequently became unpopular.

Most of all we have to check his Mob ties. Just because every business in New York has Mob Ties doesn't mean anything. If he has any receipts from the Shop Right Supermarket chain we got him. Everybody knows they are owned by the Gambinos.  If he bought concrete thirty years ago from a Mob Concrete Company when they were they only concrete companies in business well we got him! In fact if his mother bought an Artichoke in 1942 he is ours since everyone knows that Ciro Terranova owned the artichoke business. He has Mob ties. I know it. Let’s go over his tax returns. He can’t issue a summary like Rubio or Cruz or Mittens. We have to look up his asshole to see what we can find. Nobody wants to do that to Rubio. God knows it is too crowded up in there.
