Robert Theobald, I know how you felt.

A few days ago, Brandon mumbled something about an issue in the situation room he had to deal with. A day later, word came about a possible recon by US spec ops guys (Ranger Recon Company, mayhap) to find where the hostages are and how they and their Israeli counterparts had gotten shot to pieces.

Under ordinary circumstances, people might chalk it up to unnamed sources, but, if you consider how Brandon wheezed his way through an assertion that “We’re the United States of America for God’s sake. The most powerful nation in the history of the world, We can take care of both of these and still maintain our overall international defense. We have the capacity to do this and we have an obligation to, we are the 'essential nation'”. Sounds a bit like Adolf to his generals, March '41, don't it?

After all, this is the guy who won the election at 4AM carrying only 1/6 of the counties in the country. Clearly, there is room for doubt. The Demos have tried manfully to turn the fight for Idiot's slush fund in Ukraine into the Battle of Britain to no avail. Now comes Israel and even talk about reinstating the draft (these are the Lefties who shut down the draft, remember?).

I've theorized that the Demos are trying to create a rally 'round the flag mood to justify their re-election. What better way than a heroic Cabanatuan-style raid by Our Boys that would ramp up an attack on the Moslem world?

And they're going to need it. Former Gray Lady reporter Bari Weiss did a piece for the Free Press about how Americans (read Lefties) are seeing how Trump was right and how they're coming out of their ‘Woke Slumber’ about  and Gateway supplemented it with other quotes like, Liberal friends were suddenly talking about buying guns. Progressive friends were texting about topics like border security and immigration. In a whisper, one even admitted to watching Fox News, I am left yet again with an appreciation, despite the messenger, of the message of the Trump administration because what those guys did was pretty incredible in hindsight, and seeing all the chaos in the country and the world convinced him former President Donald Trump was right about many things.

9/11 writ large.

So, with blacks talking about Uncle Trump and Lefties seeing the light of self-preservation, one can see where a soupcon of suspicion might be possible. Fact is, Brandon paid the mullahs 6B to get that round of hostages freed, and got a whole lot of backlash on it, and next thing you know, Hamas hits Israel in a very Pearl-esque raid. Now, presumably, some of our best soldiers got caught in an ambush after 3 years of diversity, Pride, cashiering of a lot of experienced, patriotic soldiers, and waste of  much hardware in a war that's none of our business. This is no Last Stand on Bataan, more like Willie's Black Hawk Down or Bucketmouth's Desert One, complete with a Joint Chiefs Chair who palled with his Soviet counterparts (Milley, football buddy of Richard Levine, just retired, after all).

If the Lefties are finally being hoist on their own petard, I can only say I just wish it hadn't taken such a mess to do it.

But I do understand how Robert Theobald, a man once described as having one of the best brains and one of the worst dispositions in the US Navy, must have felt.
