Actually, I just started to drink tea about 4 years ago. I was a huge, huge coffee drinker since I was a very young boy. Later in life, I always gained weight during the winter months, and once spring arrived where I was outside working (and sweating), I would skip meals and just drink coffee to lose the extra weight. Then, about 4 years ago, I developed a case of the jitters when I was driving that scared the shit out of me. I thought it had something to do about not eating and the coffee, so I stopped at a McDonalds and had a cheeseburger. The jitters went away, but that's when I decided to stop drinking coffee. Last year I bought a 2 cup coffee maker and I'll have coffee every once in a while.
I remember my mom making tea back in the early 1950s. There were no tea bags, but she had a tin cup with small holes in it that was tapered to the bottom and a screw on cap that had a chain attached to it. She would heat the water up, pour it into a cup, then put course tea leaves into the tin cup and dip it into the hot water.
After all of these years I've thought about my mom dipping the tea thingy into the tea cup, and today I find out she was actually infusing. Imagine my surprise.
I have one of those Allen. That is what I was talking about.
There is this guy who has a tea shop on Alantic Avenue. He sells loose teas. You go in and buy it by the bag. I use it in conjunction with the Medicinal brand I mentioned. The taste is fantastic. It is a little ritual when you make it.

The old days.
Here it is. It's called a
tea infuser.
I was wrong about the tapered tin.
The old days were a long time ago.
... and it's made out of aluminum.
They were also made of chrome plated steel.
I'm pretty sure that I've never used the word infuser before.
There should be a superhero: The Infuser.
