KLEM AM

I swear to Blog,* Maurice is who I learned to do a French accent from in English. Well, it could have been La Le Beau on "Hogan's Heroes."

Le Beau.

A name with La would be La Belle, as in Patti.

Me too. I went around talking like him then Mum told about him being Nazi sympathizer and how such things can be so and that put me off Chevalier in favor of W.C. Fields.

But it's still encoded.

In a van filled with people a song came on the radio and a guy said he wish he could sing along but it is not anywhere near his key. This is a silly person easily given to singing. I said, "Then sing out of key" and proceeded as Maurice Chevalier singing a different song, (The Long to Be) Close to You, triggering the driver to moan and the rest of the whole van to sing it properly because that song is in their key. And I had a very funny thing going with out of key Chevalier singing Karen Carpenter. C'mon, that's hilarious but my joke just went pffffft with people singing well, a song that is not playing on the radio.
