"Manassas City Police said in a statement that it is not their policy "to authorize invasive search procedures of suspects in cases of this nature," but the boy's aunt claimed they never would have backed off without the widespread uproar against the insane legal strategy. "They would have gotten away with this," she told the Associated Press. "They were not going to back off." The teenager, however, still faces charges that could have him registered as a sex offender for life."

Wouldn't popping a boner constitute self-incrimination?
They wouldn't really need to get him to do this, at his age. Wait ten or fifteen minutes and he'll pop one regardless.
Maybe the kid should keep this in mind in the future.
AM penis cam. Problem solved.
Hobby Lobby was forced to provide abortion drugs by Nancy Pelosi and President Petulant. What's the big deal?
From the article you'd think there are countless news reporters combing through millions of criminal dockets, examining every single issued search warrant, just in case there's one out there where some media publicity should be leveraged to prevent an injustice.

And in all fairness, wouldn't they have to do a line-up?
Craigslist ad: The police are looking for volunteers to receive a free hand job and photograph your gear in action-ready mode.
Not bad, Rabel, not bad at all.
Some ideas are so blatantly stupid that their originator deserves to be named. Whatever genius on the police force or in the DA's office who thought this up should be named and shamed.
