Former First Lady and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton spoke to a large crowd at the University at Buffalo Wednesday night, as part of the university's Distinguished Speaker Series, and was heckled.
"Benghazi, you let them die," the heckler shouted. (video at the link)
"We have to be willing to come together as citizens to focus on the kind of future we want, which doesn't include yelling. It includes sitting down and talking with one another," Clinton said in response to the heckler to huge applause from the audience.

She wouldn't get heckled if she answered the questions when they were asked originally.
It is her basic contempt for the American Public which will stop here from getting elected.
At this point, what difference does it make!
The elite left are going to push this horrible old woman on us.
She has the personality of a moldy pancake/ Ken Salazar. She and her husband are the ultimate gold diggers. They want back into the posh life the White House affords.
I'm glad she was heckled. More please.
The depressing part of this story is that the audience rose and gave her a standing O for her platitudinous "answer" to the heckler.
It's what we call an adoptive admission.
The most disturbing thing about a Hillary presidency is the third world dictator aspect of it. The spouse of a ruler getting in, etc.
And no, I do not mean she is riding on his coattails. I don't think he would have made the presidency without her kicking him in the ass. If the founders had foreseen this, they would have made family presidencies unconstitutional because they smack of royalty.
Heckling is important if you want to make linen.
Hillary is an utter hypocrite, as I illustrated at 12:07 above. If she gains the Presidency it will be even worse than what we have now. We'd go from innately stupid to innately evil. In her world hecklers cannot yell, only lying Executive Branch witnesses can when they don't want to answer a question.
Does the future include dismissing any criticism whatsoever?
What difference, at this point, does it make?

I'm thinking that at the very least John Adams wasn't worried about that.
Well said and total agreement, Deborah.
100%.
@ Aridog
Hillary loses her cool
Notice how civil she is in sitting down and talking. What a crock.
Nobody on the left wants to sit down and talk because there is nothing to talk about. (Witness how the shutdown is the Republicans fault -- not because they didn't sit down and talk, but they didn't sit down and lick boot at Day One. BHO -- and Hilary too -- never want to "talk" -- they only tell.)
They are Right.
Yeah, Hillary lost her cool on the Hill that day. And she still--how many months later?--cannot account for Benghazi. And I realize that it's not her job anymore to answer as SoS, but let's not double down on blind trust and put her on an even higher and more unassailable pedestal. She needs to come clean first. She's just dirty.
As I say, it ain't goin' away.
The heckler was a plant so she could spew that line. So fake it's transparent.
I was thinking she definitely had the line ready.
@Icepick...I know :)
But it would have been appropriate and great humor if the guy threw his shoe at her, right?

Only if the shoe were steel-toed.
I'm not so sure the guy who shouted "Benghazi, you let them die," was a plant with a scripted line. That "you let them die" is pretty powerful stuff and sticks in the mind. A plant would have just yelled something like "what about Benghazi," I think.
Rush just played this clip in context with what she said about the heckler.
Great clip, Lem!

It's too bad leftists don't govern like they talk.
Whoa, that will be played over and over.
@Lem: maybe imbed it in this post?
Hildebeast: We have to be willing to come together as citizens and talk to each other about my vision of the future. The past is over, it doesn't matter. Don't talk about the past. Certainly don't yell about it. At this point, what difference does it make?
Also, there will be no objections to me noted in the record although you may continue, until further notice, to mutter State-sanctioned politically correct objections amongst yourselves.
Mindless Followers: YAAAAAYYY!
She's a crap politician
The lefties are all energized about ... wait for it ...
Elizabeth Warren.
Yeah, they don't have much bench.
