I just realized Newcastle bottles would make good hummingbird feeders.
And it says one and only right on the bottle. Filled with hummingbird sugar-water, of course, not ale. That would get those little birds drunk and that's hummingbird abuse.
Newcastle Brown Ale is perceived in the UK as a working man's beer, with a long association with heavy industry, the traditional economic staple of the North East of England.[1] Ironically, in export markets it is seen as a trendy, premium import and is predominantly drunk by the young.[1] It was one of the first beers to be distributed in a clear glass bottle, and it is most readily associated with this form of dispense in the UK, being very rarely seen on draught.
In Crested Butte, there exists a rum bar that makes the most fantastic rum drinks. Heaven on earth. I'd describe the place a Hummingbird feeder for humans.
My neighborhood is swarming with humming birds. Everybody feeds them. When my neighbors went on vacation recently they brought me a couple feeders to hang up so the little suckers won't starve, and I already have a couple up. The great thing about hummers is the tiny shits, which are actually composed of 100% rock candy.
deborah, sorry, read that late, no, no place just for them, but they are all here, Blogger search in the top left corner brings them all up. There are nine. If any are missing you can ask by number.

I did not know that!
Hummingbird sez: Dude, that's a glass marble... not a blueberry. You tricked me!
If it's like duck hunting, what you want is a giant hummingbird.

Chip, do you have a link that contains only your hummingbird feeders?

Sugar-water?
Don't you know what leaves a green spectral trail and craves sugar-water?
I should try that. I have a ton of hummingbirds in my neighborhood. and bees.
It was summertime and I was idly watering the garden with a handheld garden hose, set to a fine spray.
Some hummingbirds came by and danced back and forth in the mist for maybe 5 minutes and we kind of connected.
It was a pretty nifty experience although I don't have much in the way of religious beliefs.
I've never seen a hummingbird (barring photos, of course).
or a nightingale.
