We experienced a smaller one in Michigan a few years ago. I was in a group meeting with 12 others at the time and none of them knew what it was. I'd felt one before while traveling, and said "earthquake". They thought I was nuts, but it turned out to be true.
Unsettling to feel, as it's absolutely uncontrollable. No amount of windfarms and green energy mandates can stop it from happening.
