Breitbart on YouGov Poll: "64% of Hispanics Back Deportations"

"Rather than convince the American people that passing a mass amnesty is what's needed, the burst of border coverage earlier this month convinced 77% of the American people that the kids need to be sent back home. A full 42% want the kids sent back immediately regardless of what's happening in their home countries. Add to that another 35% who want them sent back unless their home country is deemed unsafe."

Only 11% want what Obama, Democrats, and the media want -- which is amnesty for everyone.

The numbers are not all that different among Hispanics. Only 22% want to give the children amnesty. A full 64% want the children deported. Of that 64%, 28% want them deported immediately; 36% want them deported unless their home country is deemed unsafe.

That puts Hispanics almost perfectly in line with the rest of country.

In other words, the constituency the democrats claim the republicans "need to win", Hispanics oppose amnesty.

"At a raucous town hall meeting in Murrieta Wednesday night, city officials had a message for residents who a day earlier successfully blocked immigrant detainees from entering a local Border Patrol processing facility: Blame the federal government."

At the meeting, during which roughly 750 area residents peppered local representatives and law enforcement personnel with their concerns over plans to move detained immigrants through the facility, Murrieta Mayor Alan Long reiterated the need for the federal government to do more to address the influx of undocumented immigrants.

Citizens, he said, should direct their complaints not to local representatives but rather to Congress and the White House, which is using “frightened women and children” to score political points in the immigration debate.

A sharp increase in immigration on the Rio Grande border -- 77% from countries other than Mexico so far in 2014 -- has overwhelmed Border Patrol facilities in Texas, leading facilities in other areas such as Southern California to take up the overflow, according to Paul Beeson, chief patrol agent with the Border Patrol’s San Diego division. LA Times: Texas officials announce border security surge to stem immigrant tide

"Obama to Hispanics: We won’t deport relatives because you enroll in ObamaCare."

President Obama on Tuesday sought to assure legal immigrants that they can sign up for ObamaCare without worrying that “the immigration people” will come for family members who are in the country illegally.

It's a question of presidential priorities these days. Never mind the laws. 'I want, I need people to sign on to my Health Care system and I don't care where they come from. Draft them if you have to. Lets get those numbers up people', I can easily imagine Obama saying.

In an interview with Univision Deportes, a Spanish-language sports radio show, Obama said immigration officials won’t have access to the personal information that consumers provide when signing up for healthcare on the new exchanges.

“Well, the main thing for people to know is that any information you get, you know, asked with respect to buying insurance, does not have anything to do with … the rules governing immigration,” Obama said. “And you know, you can qualify if you’re a legal resident, if you are … legally present in the United States.

As the president of the United States I'm telling you I call the balls and strikes. I say who is safe and who is out. I'm the sole arbiter; I'm the controlling legal authority, don't you know who I 'am?

“You know, if you have a family where some people are citizens or legally here, and others are not documented, the immigration people will never get that information.” read more

Here is the thing that caught my attention, yesterday, about the implications of this article, which aside from Obama's desperation tone... isn't it cringeworthy, to have a president appearing to be willing to say anything, to sell insurance? The president of the United States!
Aside from that (as if it wasn't enough) didn't our government promise to share information amongst the agencies as, at the very least, one of the ways to ensure against another 9/11?

On the other hand, Obama didn't build that... let somebody else make that happen.

A move by Mr. Obama to limit deportations on his own would enrage House Republicans, who in recent weeks have cited Mr. Obama’s various executive actions — as well as his State of the Union promise to use a “pen and phone” to circumvent Congress when possible — as reasons they do not trust him enough to work with him on a broad issue like immigration.

“It looks to me like he’s preparing another trial balloon to go forth with more likely unconstitutional executive actions,” said Representative Steve King, Republican of Iowa, who has long been a vocal opponent of the president on immigration. “I don’t know how trust can be restored.”

The man who is planning to sue the rescuers who saved his life from a submerged car for $500,000 is likely in the country illegally, according to a comment given by the man’s lawyer to Fox News’ Gretchen Carlson.

Colorado rescuers saved Roy Ortiz from a submerged car in September, but now, Ortiz and his lawyer Ed Ferszt have filed an intent to sue the very first responders who saved Ortiz’s life. Why? Because they believe the rescue took two hours because the divers did not know Ortiz was alive in the flipped car.

“Of course he was thankful because those divers did have a major role to play in saving his life that day,” Ferszt told Denver’s ABC affiliate earlier this week. Read More

"Report: Gov't success in immigration court drops"

"Nearly half of immigrants facing deportation are now winning their cases before an immigration judge, their highest success rate in more than 20 years, according to a new analysis of court data published Thursday."

The U.S. government has been losing more deportation cases each year since 2009, according to the Transaction Records Clearinghouse at Syracuse University, which collects and studies federal prosecution records.

It is no coincidence that Eric Holder, who wants felons to have the right to vote, has been the Attorneys General since 2009.

Immigrants in California, New York and Oregon have been most successful recently, while judges in Georgia, Louisiana and Utah have sided more often with the government, according to TRAC.

Or, to put it another way, judges in California, New York and Oregon have sided more often with the illegals "undocumented".

Immigration supporters accuse the Obama administration of deporting too many people, but Republicans say the president is too lenient on immigrants living in the country illegally.

As more "undocumented" persons come in to the country, it is perfectly conceivable that more of them would be picked up on questions unrelated to their immigration status. It would defy human nature, if, as more undocumented immigrants snuck in, less of them were to run afoul of the law.

Nearly 2 million immigrants have been removed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement under President Barack Obama.

"DPS officer resigns after found to be illegal immigrant"

"An investigation has revealed an undocumented immigrant was working for over a decade as a Department of Public Safety officer in Arizona."

According to KVOA, Carmen Figueroa retained employment with DPS for 13 years possibly by using a fake birth certificate. She served as a spokesperson for the department, and more recently as an officer.

The investigation into Figueroa reportedly started when her brother applied for a U.S. visa. After Immigration and Customs Enforcement ran a background check on him, they learned his sister worked for DPS.

That right there is just a paperwork problem and the law screwing with good people. As a law enforcement officer she would be a good person in my book. That bugs me that good people can get screwed by the same law they uphold. That's just wrong in every definition around.
