The Real Extremists. It is all in the eye of the beholder. (A very cogent analysis)

ObamaCare and Gay Marriage Proponents are Far More Extreme Than Donald Trump

Breibart News.Com by John Nolte December 8, 2015

While I disagree with Trump’s proposal to temporarily ban all Muslim immigration (the reasons are spelled out here), and am very comfortable labeling his proposal as extreme, what’s lacking in this debate is context and perspective. Nothing Trump is proposing in this ban in any way violates anyone’s Constitutional or human rights. This is not true, though, for those in favor of gay marriage or Obama Care.
If you want to talk about extreme, let’s talk about extreme…
No foreigner has a Constitutional, legal, moral or human right to come to America. That doesn’t make it okay to ban all Muslims — in fact, it is not okay. What is far less okay, though, is the violation of human rights that have come from ObamaCare and the legalizing of same sex marriage.
Almost all of the same shrill, hypocritical Leftists and DC Media-types screaming “religious freedom!” in opposition to Trump’s immigration ban, are the very same fascists aggressively using the federal government to strip Americans protected by the Constitution of their human rights, specifically the right to honor their religious conscience.
ObamaCare outright forces the Faithful to violate their religious conscience; we’re forced to fund birth control and abortion.
On top of that, most gay marriage supporters want to use the power of the government to force the Faithful to choose between staying in business and violating their religious conscience through participating in a same-sex marriage ceremony, something many faiths (including the Muslim faith) see as the sacramentalization of a sin.
Trump wants to deny foreigners access to America. Compare that to the DC Media cheering every step of the way as the Gaystapo actually put Kim Davis in prison over her refusal to violate her Christian conscience.
Trump is stripping no one of their civil or human rights.
The fascist backers of gun control, ObamaCare and gay marriage are.
Trump’s Muslim ban bothers me.
The Left and the DC Media terrify me.

Jennifer Lawrence is a nasty piece of work.

Breibart News November 12, 2015 by Kellie Serio

Jennifer Lawrence tells Vogue magazine that Kentucky County Clerk Kim Davis, who was jailed in September for refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples, makes her feel “embarrassed to be from Kentucky.”

The Oscar-winning actress didn’t shy away from political topics during an interview for the fashion publication’s December issue. She went off when Davis’ name was brought up.
“Don’t even say her name in this house,” said Lawrence. “All those people holding their crucifixes, which may as well be pitchforks, thinking they’re fighting the good fight. I grew up in Kentucky. I know how they are.”

Christian Kim Davis freed from Prison......developing...

Christian County Clerk Kim Davis was freed by Judge Bunning and told to go and sin no more. She was freed on condition that she not interfere with the issuance of marriage certificates to same sex couples. No attempt at a reasonable accommodation to her religious beliefs was made since she is objecting that she does not want her name attached to same sex marriage certificates. It would seem to be a simple matter to take her name off of these licenses but that is not the goal of the same sex marriage warriors. They want to stomp out any opposition and incarcerate anyone who does not agree with them.

The timing of her release is suspect. Presidential Candidates Mike Huckabee and Ted Cruz were scheduled to meet with her in jail. The hue and cry was beginning to gain some traction. The fact that an unelected judge tossed a public official into jail because she would not violate her religious beliefs resonates with many people. Judge Bunning wanted to forestall that by releasing her. It solves nothing. She has already indicated that she will not acquiesce into using her good name to certify same sex marriages. So we will be in the exact same place in a week or two. Will  the Judge be willing to find a reasonable accommodation? Will he direct that some non-indentifing language be used? Something like "The State of Kentucky" on the certificate and not "County Clerk Kim Davis." Or will they insist on compliance and worship at the altar of same sex marriage. I don't think it will end so easily.

I think he released her because the optics were bad and getting worse. He didn't find an equitable solution. Of course he was not interested in equity. Only power.

Many more Christians will be facing the gaol soon enough. This is just the canary in the coal mine.

This is not over. It will not end well.

"My conscience will not allow it"

"Five of six deputies in the office of a Kentucky county clerk jailed Thursday for her refusal to issue marriage licenses after the Supreme Court allowed gays to wed say they will process the paperwork starting Friday."
But Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis, whom U.S. District Court Judge David Bunning found in contempt of court, said through her lawyers that she will not authorize any of her employees to issue licenses in her absence. The judge placed her in the custody of U.S. marshals and had her taken to Carter County jail.
Kim Davis who is an elected official (cannot be fired, can only be impeached) is in a case "of competing revolutions — with Kim Davis defying Justice Kennedy’s revolutionary act with a revolutionary act of her own."
We knew from the beginning which revolutionary held more power, and we also know that the worst revolutionaries show no mercy to dissenters. There were many options short of imprisonment for Davis (how many leftist legislators are in jail for lawless “sanctuary city” policies that actually cost lives?), but the court was apparently in no mood for moderation. So off she goes to prison. Judge Bunning’s decision is a means of control It is a means of maintaining order. It is the selective application of law to advance a particular radical ideology. But spare me any talk of justice. There is no justice today in Judge Bunning’s court.
