OK, I have no money in this fight. I throw it out for your speculation.
Fact: Everybody wants to bury Trump today. The Demos, the NeverTrumpers, the Libertarians. They say it's time for him to step aside and let DeSantis have the reins.
Fact: Trump has alluded he knows something about DeSantis that could kill him if he runs for national office. How true this might or might not be, I have no idea.
Fact: The Demos like to get behind a weak R and push him so the more formidable candidate is dumped in the primaries and they can sweep the floor with their guy in the general.
Fact: Like a lot of other people, I like DeSantis. I like what he's done in FL. I like the way he's stood up on the national stage. The red wave was there in FL. Maybe because they were able to announce early, the Demos didn't wait for 4AM, but started as soon as they got the word the wave was real (it was also real in WV and OH).
Question: What if Trump isn't blowing smoke, what if there is something there? What if this is the old Demo game for the national stage?

Not sure what Trump may or may not have on DeSantis. Ron is my Gov and has done an amazing job here in Florida. Hopefully, he will make a run for the White House someday but not now as we still need him here.
Politics is a strange creature; DeSantis is a big boy and should know how to play the game (he used Trump during his first election campaign). Were I an advisor to DeSantis I would advise he sit out the 2024 elections, get behind Trump and let Trump take the hits. And the idea I have heard of DeSantis as Trump’s VP is patently absurd; they’re too much alike and would cancel each other out.
The left and rinos are trying to create havoc where none exists. Push come to shove, I’m voting for Trump.
The GOPe wants to get rid of Trump? Sounds fine, Trump can take his 100 million dollar war chest and his voters and go third party. The Republicans show over and over again how it is, they put up Romney or McCain or any Bush and you have to vote for them. Anyone out of their favor and they sandbag them. McConnell has screwed up how many Senate runs already? Alabama, Mississippi, Arizona and Alaska. He spent 9 million running ads against the republican nominee in AK for Murkowski who's been dumped by her own party.TWICE!
2020 showed how elections can be stolen, 2022 confirmed it. I have no use for either the democrats or GOP and it's time people step up to fuck them both up.
BTW I have nothing against DeSantis, but he should keep his powder dry. Shit times are coming and the republicans will be blamed for them.

After reading what Sundance has regarding DeSantis, I view him as another Jeb! at best. The man is being bought up by establishment misleaders.
I will back President Trump in 2024. Cheers.
