Does some unseen agency give the boy an impulse to move, as a spark in the brain such as impatience, or what? What do you sense when you see this?
Wait for it... Life is so precious that everything could change in an instance. Live each day as though it could be your last. pic.twitter.com/75K0NNbJsu
As my mom, who was afraid of lightning would say in the gap between the crack of the strike and the roll of thunder that followed, "That was a close one!".
The Father who posted it is free to believe what he wants and the boy is free to live another day for whatever reason.
In reading today, this came up from John O'Donohue's book, Walking in Wonder: I feel that there is given to each of us an angel's spirit to shelter and protect us and mind us. If you don't think spirit is beside you, then you may never feel its presence, but if you do begin to tune into it and become aware of it, you will be astounded at the gentleness, the encouragement and the inspiration that your angel will bring you.

I would have used the word "instant" rather than "instance". But it's a good thing that stuff needed kicking when it did.
Wow.

It's enough to be astounded.
