[Andrew] Luck (Colts quarterback) has become famous for congratulating—sincerely and enthusiastically—any player to hit him hard. Any sack is met with a hearty congratulations, such as “great job” or “what a hit!” He yells it after hard hits that don’t result in sacks, too. It is, players say, just about the weirdest thing any quarterback does in the NFL.
“You want to say thank you but then you say ‘wait a second--I’m not supposed to like you!’”

Favre used to do that as well. Hell, he let Strahan sack him to get the sack record. Luck is smart. I think it's smart to do it. Psychologically, the guy may not hit you so hard the next time.
Favre's congrats were profanity laced.
It's dead @ TOP. So expect a drive by. Remember, ignoring or obtuse ball busts are the best response.
I don't type the numbers and still get my comments posted. Is that like pre screening w/ the TSA?
That's weird. It sounds like, "Thank you, Sir, I'll have another."
Strahan framed his penis photo. NTTAWWT

I thought Favre just sent them a picture of his dick.
You sure it wasn't Carlos Danger? I mean, that dude lives in your neighborhood I think.
Favre had a habit of springing back up before the guy who had just hit him, and offering to give the guy a hand up, while telling him that he hopes he didn't hurt him.
Some players laughed about it with Favre, but a few lunkheads took the bait and slapped Favre in the helmet or gave him a shove, and earned a penalty.
