Emergency Powers Act of 1977

Okay fine, I will.

https://definitions.uslegal.com/i/international-emergency-economic-powers-act/

International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) of 1977 is a federal law that authorizes the U.S. Presidents to regulate commerce after declaring a national emergency in response to any unusual and extraordinary threat to the U.S. which has a foreign source.

IEEPA recodifies, for peacetime emergency use, the wartime economic powers available to the president under the Trading with the Enemy Act (TWEA). IEEPA authorizes the president to deal with any unusual and extraordinary threat, which has its source in whole or substantial part outside the U.S. to the national security, foreign policy, or economy of the U.S., if the president declares a national emergency with respect to such threat. He can also investigate, regulate, or prohibit any transaction in foreign exchange, and investigate, regulate, direct and compel, nullify, void, prevent or prohibit, any exportation of any property in which any foreign country or a foreign national thereof has any interest. It gives the president broad authority over financial transactions and property in which any foreign country, any citizen or national of a foreign country, or any other person aiding the foreign country, has any interest, provided that the president first declares a national emergency under the act.

Want to see a man cry right in front of everyone?

There are a lot of videos about this. The news readers tend to get in the way. I think this one is the best. The ones that aren't maudlin and sappy with music and text are shot from the back so you don't see their faces. This one tells the whole story.

It's on!

Like Donkey Kong except a trillion times more serious.

Oh no, it's ON!

      Oh, huh-uh, it's ON ON!

Oh no you don't, we took your numbers and doubled, you are ON!

Oh, we took your doubles and doubled those and it's SUPER ON!

Oh, we took your super on and doubled those and now it's DOUBLE SUPER SIZED ON!

Oh, we took your double super sized on and f'k'd it then kicked to the curb and tripled our ON!

Xi's my best friend. We have great respect for each other. He comes over here to Mar a Lago and we golf all the time. His grandchildren play with my grandchildren. Oh how we laugh. We all drink the same Shirley Temples made with tea. He loves China and I love America. We have a lot of mutual respect for each other. We're tremendous friends.

Panda face / dragon face. Panda face / dragon face. Panda face / dragon face. Panda face / dragon face. Panda face / dragon face. Panda face / dragon face. Panda face / DRAGON F'K'N FACE!  It's a thing.

A very big thing.

It's a 3-dimensional yin/yang, an orb, not a disc. It's all squishy in your hands, it's all win or lose absolutely, with nothing in between, and compromise incomprehensible, with both sides constantly forcing on each other with nothing actually totally lost.

Except trillions of dollars in trade and global economic domination.

Even face. ))) WHAP! (((

And that's why North Korea is an essential part of this. It's what China uses to save face when they've lost the economic war with Trump. And Trump alone. Trump and his team alone. Everyone else including our allies and our own compatriots, even the people lifted up, even members of his own party are against him.

Because there are literally trillions of dollars at stake, and the future well being of both nations.

The economies absolutely swamp everything else.

It you'd like to see something incredibly stupid then have a look at all the flatline ultra maroons who attach themselves to Trump's tweets. They come out of the woodwork like bugs to prove to all they haven't a clue about what's going on. The things that they post are so far off the mark it's astounding.

Socks

I bought a lot of socks. A LOT of socks. I've got socks coming out of my ears over here. My sock drawer is packed tightly and there are socks all over the place crowding other drawers.

The thing is, some are excellent design and then shrink when washed and become uselessly too tight.

Some are too thick.

Some are too tightly knit.

Some don't breathe.

Some are too hot.

I f'k'n hate most of them.

Too thin. Too thick. Too uncomfortable. Too much cotton. Too tight of elastic. Too stretchy. Insufficiently stretchy. Too ungiving. Too loose. Too white. Too black.

Ew, I hate you socks to pieces.

George and Paul came over here to dispose a 55 gallon aquarium and its stand. And bring up from my truck a replacement tank and new stand.

While here they did a ton of other stuff besides. They cleaned the area of the tank and then cleaned the carpet cleaner. Did dishes. Took out trash.

At one point Paul pointed to my laundry basket and said, "Cool socks."

That day after they left I had Amazon send him a package of those same socks. And another package of different socks separately to George.

He pointed to the blue and gray ones with the red toe and heel.

They're a bit silly.

Like a cartoon.

And they're comfortable as h-e-double socks.

They fit very well after washing and the elastic band does not leave a mark. The sewn toe is comfortable. They're exactly the right weight. They feel loose when they're on. And they breathe. They're just the right combination of cotton and whatever else it is they have in there.

I like them.

I sent George the exact same thing except different.

This summer I noticed the socks that he wears with his trainers. Alway some standard gray. He is not a goofy guy, so goofy patterns are out. Toned down and standard is what I chose.

This is more his sort of thing. I think.

And they're cheap as h-e-double fiddlesticks.

Only $15.00.

Is that amazing or what?

Twice I had to remove my boot at the doctor's offices, the GP and then again for a specialist, to show them the swelling down there. And both of them said, "Cool socks."

It's such an embarrassing situation.

"Let go of my foot, you big perv."

So even doctors like them.

They'd make a good gift for the doctors. It'll blow their minds because, who even thinks of that?

I sent a few packages to other friends.

In the meantime, both George and Paul wrote back separately telling me they love their package of socks, they're just the right thing, etc., etc.

I bought a few packages to have as convenient gifts. Say I get invited to a party and this unusual gift is right here. Just hand them a package of socks and go, "Here." Boom. Five pair of great socks.

Sarah Sanders will join Fox News

She'll start on Fox and Friends September 6th.
Fox News has been the number one news organization in the country for 17 years running and I am beyond proud to join their incredible stable of on-air contributors in providing political insights and analysis.
More words at Daily Caller if you care to read them.

And a very nice photograph.

She said stable. They're all horses.

I don't care. My eighteen-year-old self doesn't care either.

Okay, what are you doing here popping up at this late juncture, Eighteen-Year-Old Self?

"I popped up, as you put it, to reaffirm my resentment. It still stands. You still stand, I still stand. So deal with my enduring resentment. That's what I'm doing here."

What are you talking about?

"She has Huckabee in her name there in the middle. She got her stupendously high profile job because her father was Governor of some southern state, Arkansas, I think. And that's it. Nepotism right there."

She was very good as Trump's spokesperson.

"So what. A thousand other outstanding young people could have been just as good if given the chance but they weren't given the chance because she was in the way, and she was in the way because of her family connections. That's my resentment. And I don't care what her priors are, I don't care about her other advantages, she had the job because her name is Huckabee. We behave as they did in the dark ages when careers were passed through the family and I don't like that.

And now she has a very well paying job in media because she did very well in her previous well paying job that she got because of her father. No matter all the other things that she did. Other young people did those same things and were not given the chance. Was my way paved to become a pilot because my dad was in the Air Force? Yes. But shut up."

Eighteen-year-old self shrank back to where he rests, back into the bones of my frame, back into the cells of my organs and organelles, back into my blood that is coursing my body. Back into my asshole where he lives in remission.

Sarah Sanders doesn't matter to me.

Cut the cable. What a dumb way to say you unscrewed the wire and disconnected the cable box and returned them with the remote to Comcast.

I don't watch Fox anymore. They're bad as all the rest. Sarah Huckabee Sanders working there is irrelevant to me. Unless she says something so interesting a video is uploaded to the internet and is presented to me elsewhere. So she and the other Fox personalities can just suck my dangling cable.

Say something relevant and we'll probably see it. But not by watching Fox on cable t.v. We'll see it elsewhere with the commercials cut out.

Another Dimension of H. H. Bennett

Check this out. It'll make you go cross-eyed:

This famous photo was actually shot with two different cameras at the same time -- each from a slightly different perspective -- much as your eyes see practically everything. I am able to "see" this photo with remarkable depth perception. Here is how.

1) enlarge the photo as much as you can or hold your face very close to the screen.

2) If you wear strong eyeglasses it may help to remove them.

3) Use both eyes to fixate on the vertical line separating the two photos, then "relax" your gaze until you perceive not two but three images -- one 3D image in the middle and two flanking photos. The middle image should strike you with its depth.

4) If you have trouble seeing this optical illusion, practice just trying to see the three images and then look for the depth. If you've never done this, it's a bit of a eureka moment.* You train your eyes and brain to edit out the the two peripheral images on either side.
___________________________

*The eureka moment is worth striving for, but don't do this for too long or your eyes may stay like that. I learned to do this in college where chemistry textbooks presented various molecular structures in 3D as pairs of images. Some students needed special viewers to see this effect, but I trained myself to see it without the viewer.

Here's another Bennett photo to practice on; the oars should be strikingly in 3D. Remember to enlarge the image or get real close.

Trump cancels student loan debt held by disabled veterans

Story is in the title at Washington Examiner.

Just like the G.I. Bill.

Reason enough to enlist.

Oops. Hang on.

It's for wounded warriors.

Well, a guy like John Kerry would be set, a war hero with three purple hearts.
"I am taking executive action to ensure that our wounded warriors are not saddled with mountains of student debt," Trump told an audience of veterans. He is ordering the Department of Education "to eliminate every penny of federal student loan debt owed by American veterans who are completely and permanently disabled."
The order affects 25,000 veterans with an average of $30,000 of debt.

Let's see you go 25X3 then add all the zeros. So that's what? 750000000

Seven hundred fifty million. I bet. Three quarters of a billion. I bet.

Maths!

Plus no tax.

Trump is also urging the States to get off the vets' backs with taxes involved with this.

I'll dump captured ISIS fighters on your borders if you don't take them back.

Guess who said that to European leaders just days before he goes theres for G7 summit adding he won't load Guantanamo with the fanatics.

Three guesses and your first two don't count.

This bit of news comes with a British accent. dailymail.co.uk. So if you read it, put on your language distortion voice.

Hold on. I feel a laughing fit coming on.

...

...

...

Recovered.

Aren't these the same people who condemned Bush II for putting captured Islamic fighters in  Guantanamo Bay in the beginning? Are these the same people who cheered Obama for releasing so many dangerous prisoners who picked up where they left off?

The article is overloaded with tangental nonsense.

Compare, if you feel like it.

Half the comments over there at Daily Maile by various Europeans are idiotic to an extreme.

All the comments at Lucianne are quite good.

Garden, midpoint

The whole garden is on the balcony. It's a large balcony. The whole thing is lined with pots except for the part with the sliding glass door. All the pots are large. No small pots allowed.

The whole thing was started from seeds. But many more seeds were started than planted. It was a gigantic waste because I didn't know what I was doing, and still don't.

All seeds except the ones started from rhizomes, and those things are kind of like seeds. Caladiums and oxalis triangularis.

The patio gets seven hours of sunlight maximum. The rest of the time it's in shade. So things cannot be expected to finish such as melons and cucumbers and tomatoes and such things as beans. But we'll see how far they go.

Surprisingly, the things that are doing the best are various chile peppers. You'd think peppers are full sun needing plants.

"I'm really thankful to God for looking out for me there ...

... Um, yeah, Esso's been really supportive, my friends, [?] I'm really thankful for all that."

God was busy. Angels helped you. Did you feel them do what they could?

Humbling innit. You actually flew.

Oh to be young. And survive a near-death experience. This sort of thing stays with you. Forever.

"I flew, Mum. I actually flew!"

Now he knows how birds feel. Those first landings can be terrifying.

"I am the chosen one"

The accidental theme today is your language spoken as foreign language.

Conversely, your language misinterpreted for the purpose of maximum damage.

By pathetically corrupted media.

This incident is epic. Right before our eyes. Starring phenomenal Donald Trump, now president of the United States. Speaking as he does openly and often as they like to noisy chattering cockroaches.

Everyone who sees this understands that Trump is saying what he is doing was needed decades ago. Previous presidents ignored the ramifications of the process that they were a part. Each of them was required to take measured steps. All of them failed. Then Trump was elected against massive fraud, and even more massive misreporting and the responsibility for corrective action fell to him. He is the one chosen for this required corrective task.

And that is true. We chose him for this.

So easy to understand. So direct. So simple. The same message given repeatedly. There is no room for misunderstanding.

So room for misunderstanding will be forced.

That Trump turned away amusingly as if speaking to God unseen set off an explosion of heads.

I could hear the popping sounds way over here in Denver.

Watch as Trump manages the noisy chattering crowd who asks him a question then interrupts with argumentative questions within his answer. Twice. Three times, whatever. He signals he's not done answering and continues delivering his message full force that includes a Judaeo/Christian reference, and that will be the only thing these dopes heard.

That one single phrase and comic physical gesture is the single thing that sends all these irreligious dummkopfs to online scripture, Control F [chosen one], because they're not familiar with scripture to do this by memory, to develop their contrary narrative and skip past the whole message by Trump about needing to check China's global aspirations by their communist ways at the expense of U.S. economy as if "chosen one" is the only thing that he said and then ask the exact same question all over again at the next opportunity like perfect little retards robots.

See, when you barge in rudely with another question while the man is answering the original question in his original way, that means you are not listening and don't care for his answer, and are formulating your contrary question instead. So they don't hear his answer again far less internalize it so they must ask the same thing again. Expect the exact same thing again. Like robots programmed to ask the wrong things.

This answer is the same as previous answer. The locution is the same. The word choice and arrangement is the exact same as before. The answer is déjà vu all over the place while "I am the chosen one" stands out as the single comical thing that is different. So leave it to corrupted-ass media to make that the only thing notable that Trump said.

Truly epic. The whole thing is outstanding. What we see is Trump knock their collective heads together and now even more senseless with stars swirling their skulls we'll see them go off and report as they do,  "Trump thinks he is the chosen one" and, "The man is deranged," and, "25th Amendment!"

Enjoy.
