Why Am I Doubting That Assad Used Sarin?

There is a Turkish report circulating today that three victims were chemically poisoned by sarin gas. Link

The report falls short of chemical identification, instead hedging with evidence of symptoms which look like sarin poisoning. Yet sarin and sarin metabolites have distinct chemical fingerprints and isotopic signatures. The preferred method of detection is called GC/MS and it can detect very low quantities of the substance with absolute certainty. Of course, samples could be spiked with sarin, but even that would require sophistication.

I don't trust the Turks. Their President recently threatened friendly European governments with floods of refugees. Europeans fought the Ottoman Turks for centuries. We entered a war against Turkey's ally 100 years ago today. The Turks are no friend of democracy and are constantly harassing the Greeks.

Exactly who used or triggered chemical weapons last Tuesday is important. I am not impressed that our President has already made up his mind on both the types of weapons used and who used them. Trump has been proved right in the past. Perhaps he will be vindicated again. We shall see. There are many ways forward on how to gather more facts about this important matter. We should discuss them.

What does Obama want to hear?

"A number of Centcom analysts say their superiors falsified intelligence assessments, overstating the success of US airstrikes and downplaying ISIS’s growth. Fox News reports the analysts got at least two e-mails ordering them to “cut it out” and “toe the line” after they filed reports on the “rapid rise” of ISIS."
Now the Pentagon’s inspector general has seized e-mails and documents from military servers and is adding investigators to the team poring over the evidence. But both Fox and The New York Times report that some of those documents and messages may already have been deleted.
Obama said Sunday that from the moment he took office, he demanded intelligence not be “shaded by politics” or “the desire to tell a feel-good story.”
Hmm. If he’s been getting good intel, he’s ignored it. How else to explain his calling ISIS the “JV team,” or saying it’s been “contained” just hours before the Paris attacks?
Obama at the G20 Conference a week ago: I’m Not Interested In ‘American Leadership, Or America Winning’ So, my question is, why wouldn't the people passing on the intelligence to him color it, shifted it, twisted it, to reflect what Obama is interested in?

Glen Beck says the Obama policy all along has been ISIS to fight and depose Assad, for him, and later take credit.

Did World War 3 just start?

Turkey 'downs Russian warplane on Syria border'
Russia's defence ministry said an Su-24 had crashed on Syrian territory after being hit by fire from the ground, and that its pilots had managed to eject.
But Turkish military officials said Turkish F-16s had shot down the plane after repeatedly warning its pilots they were violating Turkish airspace.
"Efforts are being made to ascertain what happened to the pilots. According to preliminary reports, the pilots have managed to self-eject," the [Russian] ministry was quoted as saying by the Interfax news agency.
Turkish news website translation... "Reduced airborne images of the Russian pilots were released"
Turkey is a member of NATO.

A fine kettle of fish

Excerpt:

"(CNN)U.S. military cargo planes gave 50 tons of ammunition to rebel groups overnight in northern Syria, using an air drop of 112 pallets as the first step in the Obama Administration's urgent effort to find new ways to support those groups.

Details of the air mission over Syria were confirmed by a U.S. official not authorized to speak publicly because the details have not yet been formally announced.

C-17s, accompanied by fighter escort aircraft, dropped small arms ammunition and other items like hand grenades in Hasakah province in northern Syria to a coalition of rebels groups vetted by the US, known as the Syrian Arab Coalition."
All pallets successfully were recovered by friendly forces, a U.S. official said."

The situation:

US, NATO, Israel, supporting the anti-Assad force, Free Syrian Army, and the groups they desert to with arms we've supplied them, such as al-Qaeda and various al-Qaeda-like factions

Russia, Iran, Hezbollah in Lebanon, China supporting pro-Assad Syrian Arab Army

ISIS, trying to establish own state in eastern Syria/western Iraq, and whatever else they can manage.

Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Gulf states covertly supplying ISIS
