During a press conference detailing his administration’s strategy to destroy ISIS following several devastating terrorist attacks in Paris, President Barack Obama said he’s not interested in “pursuing some notion of American leadership or America winning[.]”
We have a strange president. Strange is not even the word for it.

Wow, color me surprised.
We were talking about this years ago at TOP.
Looks like Pissy doesn't like being hectored by his adoring media on the prospect of having a Babi Yar in this country.
Is it possible the quasi anarchists Anonymous hacktivists are more pro America than our president?
File: Stuff We Already Know.
He left out the obvious corollary of "If we lose, we lose." and also the Administration's motto: "What difference now does it make?"
Full quote: “What I’m not interested in doing is posing or pursuing some notion of American leadership or America winning or whatever other slogans they come up with that has no relationship to what is actually going to work to protect the American people and to protect the people in the region who are getting killed and to protect our allies and people like France,” Obama said. “I’m too busy for that.”
He's too busy looking out for everybody in the world and doesn't have time to focus on the American people alone. So if some Americans get killed because he's busy looking out for Syrian refugees, well, that's life. Que sera, sera.
Incompetent, unqualified, bumbling clown, who thinks the world of himself, has the best of intentions and wants to help. Heckuva job, Barry.
I've wondered for a while why Anonymous hasn't gotten involved yet. Sounds like a challenging mission they would love. Have the blinders finally been removed with the kewl kids of France demonstrating what leadership really is?
Obama said today that neitber he nor his advisors, military or civilian, think their approach should change. He's done, but isn't it time to go after his advisors tooth and nail, making them toxic to any future positions of leadership or authority.
Also note, as usual, the scolding and shaming. Obvious scolding/shaming of political enemies but also the NOTION that Americans in general need to take a step back and realize we're not that important. America posing as a "leader" or "winning" may not be helpful to the world.
According to Barry.
Stop bothering Barry. He's busy.
The congress is in the hands of the GOP. Why is there not a authorization to use force? (War Powers Act)
He just released 5 more Gitmo detainees, including bin Laden's bodyguard and is actively campaigning to bring more Syrian refugees here. So very very busy protecting the People of the World (and let us not forget "people like France"). Jackass.
never let a crisis go to waste.
we should politicize mass shootings.
Sorry, Obama, but it's time to start playing Cowboys & Muslims.
This man is a traitor. Try him for it then hang him for it. I think he just made the case for why he should be forcibly be removed from office right now.
Still boggles my mind how this man became president.
Lem, twice!

How did Hitler become Chancellor?
He's "busy".
BTW, how many rounds of golf did he play while he was in Turkey this weekend?
Shepard Smith just interviewed a former Assistant Director of NCIS and begged him to explain to those [rubes] out there who want to go with a strong military offensive how that wouldn't help. We were assured that it didn't work after 9/11 and wouldn't now. I sat there thinking, it did work until Obama took over and it would work if we suspended all our rules of engagement. Smith was a supercilious jerk in the mode of David Brooks during that exchange, almost NBC level dhimmitude.
The haughty John Stupid Kerry addressing his fellow shits in some French government palace just informed us that the muzzie attack on infidels in Paris was NOT about a clash of civilizations, it was an attack on ALL civilizations. Of course he didn't dare call it a muzzie attack. It was, he insisted, only and exclusively a terrorist attack. The main thing is that the indoctrination must never stop. The canard that the muzzie "civilization" is as much against its perfect expression as are all other civilizations must and will be maintained. And why must ALL civilizations be interchangeable? Because all civilizations, the whole world, must eventually bow to One World Government. That's endgame for Obama, Kerry, Merkel, Cameron, Hollande, Rodham.
Being scolded by Nanny Barry and Nanny Kerry about our wrongthink.
Shep Smith isn't worth mentioning.
I love it when Gutfeld goofs on him live. He knows he's out of his league.
These feckless fuckers should be grovelling for allowing this to happen on their watch. Instead, they and their mindless media jack-offs go on the offensive, shaming everyone who questions them, dithering over semantics and optics, and continuing merrily on doubling and tripling down on the same failed policies that got us to this point in the first place.
Methadras, reports of ISIS threatening Washington is next on their list have readers going, "What taking so long?"
*hologram of average Joe, "ISIS, you're our only hope."*
C'mon, ISIS, threaten us, whydontchya? Half the nation applaud the effort. Just as at least half Iran would applaud attacking Tehran.

This is nice, the door is open to the weather with snow clouds engulfing buildings blocks West into total grayness as a wall and the most comforting odors of food are wafting in like the closed-in clouds are holding in restaurant aromas.
Another thing kind of sorta teeny bit related, hey, I think it's funny, alright?
I wonder, am I saying "Paris" right? Am I saying "France" right? I check a couple of places to compare.
You have to think a bit architecturally to say the word Paris, it refers to the tower made with "here's the steeple" like fingers. Four main fingers draw the tower in air. One dictionary starts at top and spreads to bottom in the shape of the tower, not so easy, eh? Takes some coordination, eh? Another dictionary starts at the base and draws the same tower to its point. Backwards. Ha ha ha ha ha, backwards.
For France, it occurred to me I'm not actually flipping a F I'm rotating the whole forearm with an F on the end of it and the F gets flipped automatically. Were I a robot, instructions would be F rotate, not F flip for the exact same result. Except one way manner is fey, the other manner studly.

So is Vladimir Putin.
PS OK, we have 2 Russian planes down in Egypt by IS, 2 Beirut bombings by IS killing 42, and an Einsatzgruppe racking up 500 casualties in Paris in the space of 2 weeks.
Anybody else thinking terror offensive?
He is such a jerk. I cannot believe how many idiots across this nation were fooled by him. Make no mistake, every moron who voted for Obama is just that - a moron.
Thanks, morons.
CO governor Howey Doodie is backing Obama and Valerie in their quest to import radicals and terrorists.
FBI director says we have no vetting process because these "refuges" have no paperwork. no nothing.
I predict CO will be hit with a deadly terror attack. Every state infused with these so called "refuges" is at high risk.
When it happens, I want Hickenpooper and Obozo impeached.
Deleting what he said is disingenuous. He said "some notion of..." what you quoted. That's crucial. Vengeance impels you to want to destroy things, but whether or not you're actually destroying things that will make a difference in stopping this mess is another story. But you'll declare us "victorious" and "leaders" just for destroying and killing a whole bunch nonetheless, so I guess that's why your "notion" of leadership or victory is so easy to define. Whoever destroys the most things wins. And if we still experience a bunch of terrorism after, just blame someone or something else.

I can bet you dollars to dog nuts (donuts) that DOJ and Urkel, have forced Colorado's governor to take a stand with them and in return they would look the other way with respect to their state pot legislation. So governor dickweed says okay to the potential for terrorists while his citizens are like WHAT THE SHIT?
The Strawman Cometh.

Yeah, I think that's the idea at this moment. President Spineless Feckless Man Child has been dithering so long on ISIS that anything he says on the subject disqualifies him for remotely understanding the subject at large. He has no strategy, it gets pointed out, so he falls back on blaming others and then stepping back on the perceived bravado that such an action against ISIS would take. He can't look presidential and yet aggressive at the same time since he's tried to cultivate a picture of tepid responses so he can be perceived as being reasonable for the last 8 years. His quotation is no different. It's like he suffers from battered woman's syndrome, taking the passive route to not blaming the aggressor, the bully, while defending his actions because he takes the Oingo Boingo 'Only a Lad' philosophical approach to dealing with such things:
Only a lad
He really couldn't help it
Only a lad
He didn't want to do it
Only a lad
He's underprivileged and abused
Perhaps a little bit confused
It's not his fault that he can't believe
It's not his fault that he can't behave
Society made him go astray
Perhaps if we're nice he'll go away
Perhaps he'll go away
He'll go away
"Isis is contained" then move to the attack in Paris 2 hours later. You contrast that statement against the reality and you realize that this man is a liar who got caught with his pants down again and yet he has so much radical leftist support that they are willing to overlook anything to keep the gravy train of alternate political realities going. After all, he won the Noble Peace Prize for the simple reason that he exists, but that happened in some other altered reality. This man has created so many alternate realities, you really don't know which one he lives in. The problem is, is that we are trapped in all of them as long as he's in charge. No one has the courage to remove him from office by force. Now we see why his military purge has been so successful. He stacked the deck to ensure that this doesn't happen.
He doesn't have the stomach or the courage to follow through to have left a force in Iraq as a bulwark against Syria or Iran. He created a vacuum that has been filled. AQ in Iraq became ISIS, but the larger problem is that the Arab Street believes that Obama chose Shia over Sunni and they site his deal with Iran as proof of it. Muslims only know one thing, annihilation of their enemy before themselves and they are willing to do that at a moments notice. Islam prefers it's worshipers to be unquestioningly weak. It cannot brook any deviation and when it does chaos ensues and if you get mixed into it, you better have a big stick and someone with the backbone to wield it. Obama was given a big stick and instead he broke it in half and threw it away thinking he, himself is a big enough stick to get the job done. Instead he's been flaccidly wrong and his wrongness has killed people. This is on him and no one else.
Meth - possible. Hickenlooper is a very pliable when it comes to his leftist masters. He obeys. Screw the people of CO - the democrat party is WAY more important.
Yeah, I think that's the idea at this moment. President Spineless Feckless Man Child has been dithering so long on ISIS that anything he says on the subject disqualifies him for remotely understanding the subject at large.
Everyone keeps making it out to be an issue of bravery. Newsflash: The president's safety is not really an issue. Neither is his manhood. It's not a measuring contest. Whatever he does, he probably won't be in that much more danger personally. So making it out to be an issue of personal bravery doesn't make sense. He can't take his shirt off and personally wrestle a few million thugs until they all say "uncle."
He has no strategy, it gets pointed out.
There is not "good" strategy for bad ideas held by a billion people. Except for reforming them. Only Muslims can do that.
Until then, they can take account of how dysfunctional their culture is and feel the shame of sitting on the sidelines as the backlash is voiced.
I could give a rip about Obama's safely. He doesn't care about mine - or yours.
safety
Let me clarify: If there's material support by Da'Esh ISIS that made this possible, they should be degraded. Trump said choke off their oil supplies. Fine.
But whatever we do, do it effectively. The last thing anyone needs is a bunch of rhetorical bluster, though. For every word voiced, I want their military/terrorist capacity degraded at least 1%. Once you've said 100 words, that's it. End of verbal campaign. After that, they'd better have no more access to arms or communication. Impose a bluster quota immediately.
Not blustering is as important as any degradation of them.
You missed the point.
R & B for president.
Nobody's making it about "bravery," Straw-for-Brains.
Just have a reality-based plan that serves the people of the United States by making terrorism at least as painful for the terrorists as it is for the rest of us and not some ridiculous utopian vision in which Good King Putt saves the universe by making a speech.
This fucking guy thinks he's President of the World or some kind of secular Pope of the Dopes when he's really just a Mission Creep.
Just have a reality-based plan...
All plans are theoretical, Mr Know-It-None.
That's why they call them "plans." Because they haven't been attempted yet.
That's why they make a Plan A and a Plan B. In case one doesn't work.
I would think someone who watches Scooby Doo at least as much as you do would at least know this.
...that serves the people of the United States by making terrorism...
So the people of the United States are the ones who are making terrorism and need lessons on why they shouldn't?
My, my.
...at least as painful for the terrorists as it is for the rest of us and not some ridiculous utopian vision in which Good King Putt saves the universe by making a speech...
You proved my point.
That was about as garbled as I've seen you "plan" them, A-Mart. Or "serve" them.
It showed no one anything other than how much you believe in the power of your supposed, theoretical, not yet enacted, roll up your sleeves "plan."
Time's a wastin' and the terrrrrrists aren't effacing.
Just have a reality-based plan that serves the people of the United States by making terrorism at least as painful for the terrorists as it is for the rest of us and not some ridiculous utopian vision in which Good King Putt saves the universe by making a speech.
I think what my good man A-Mart is trying to say, bless him, is this.
Just have a reality-based plan that serves the people of the United States by making terrorism at least as painful for the terrorists as it is for the rest of us and not some ridiculous utopian vision in which Good King Putt saves the universe by making a speech.
I personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so because, uh, some, uh, people out there in our nation don't have maps and, uh, I believe that our education like such as in South Africa and, uh, the Iraq, everywhere like such as, and, I believe that they should, our education over here in the U.S. should help the U.S., uh, or, uh, should help South Africa and should help the Iraq and the Asian countries, so we will be able to build up our future..
