On Triangles & Diamonds

In regard to our current president and the approach he takes toward life, the responsibilities he carries, and the people he relates to, works with and represents, I see and hear him employing a both/and mix of the Drama Triangle and Empowerment behavior portrayed below.  For as much as he appears to enjoy tangling in drama (and using it for deflection?), I consider him most effective when he is functioning in diamond mode, as a Challenger, Coach and Creator, with an  "I can do it, You can do it, How will you do it?" mind set.   Since the shooting, he seems to be more focused on empowerment than drama, and I believe that to be part of dynamics involved with his election and the changes he has since been able to implement in the face of opposition, set-back, and a never-ending swirl of drama and intrigue.

Agree with you on Creator.

Reminds me of my working days and those team building exercises with the Meyers-Briggs tests.

The majority would be in 3 relatively big groups, the minority about 2 or 3 smaller groups, and I would be off on my own.

Make of that what you will.

I'm still smiling over Dad Bones' comment, wondering if Trump might in the mood/mode of an "overworked dad who tells the kids to get lost so he can get something done" The loss in 2020, the shooting, and now the ability/opportunity to function as a leader and creator and get some actual work done (while facing the relentless onslaught of people and issues fluttering around like the sky is falling and peck peck pecking at his tired feet) has got to be wearing enough to pull him back into bursts of drama. All in all I appreciate what I see him trying to do, while some of his behavior and focus remains unclear.

If you ever saw the old Western The War Wagon, I get the feeling he's playing the Duke's part. Also Ricardo Mendelbaum in The Wrath Of Khan.
