Keep that in mind. Remember what happened on J6. Those people just wanted an audit of the vote and came to DC to exercise their Constitutional right to peaceably assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
They didn't hurt anyone; that was the work of the Ice Cream Queen's Sturm Abteilung.
They did not break in to the Capitol; they were let in.
They did not destroy anything, that was the work of the Ice Cream Queen's provocateurs; in fact, Ashli Babbitt smacked one of them in the head when he tried to break up stuff on the Ice Cream Queen's desk (it's on tape).
We can only hope she, Roseanne Boyland, Kevin Greason, and Benjamin Philipps get the justice they so richly deserve.The only insurrection was that of the Democrat party.
That said, never forget that, until we hear the words, "I, Donald Trump, do solemnly swear...", this is a long way from over. Several Democrats have promised they want to find a way to derail Trump ever entering the White House. I think using the 34 counts won't fly since a NY appellate court tossed the convictions, but they'll try something.
Stay tough. Stay strong. Stay alert. Be thankful.
And, oh, yes, I love the smell of schaudenfreude in the morning.

He's not president yet, and yes they will try something, wonder if they'll use the 25th to oust Biden and let her try something against Trump
ny rep ratskin has said the communists in congress , who he is one of , will pull the 14th amendment on him , knowing that it will start a civil war. Oh , and they want armed protection because they know what will happen . Minimum , he should be thrown out of office. Better yet , arrested and jailed for TRUMP'S term in office , like pedo joe did to the J-6ers.
Congratulations! We may have just saved the greatest nation in history. Back in 2016, I sometimes argued against Trump, because I expected him to be a regular closet liberal, but the man turned out to be an exceptional political force. I voted for him 3 times, and I think he won 3 times. Lately, I've been thinking this is a terrible time to be an American, but that disappeared last night. I hope it lasts. There are a lot of battles ahead, and the enemy is strong and batshit crazy.
