Word is Zippy is pushing an open convention sub rosa (given the racist he was when he was supposedly in his right mind, Brandon can expect no sympathy from The One) which indicates Chlamydia isn't even in the running. How they get away with this given 16 states say the guy who won the primary is on the ballot would appear to be problematical, but then Zip was never known as a deep thinker.
Most of the names in the first cartoon would appear to be non-starters, the nominee would again have to be selected, rather than elected.
Imagine the fun The Outlaw President will have with the Party of Democracy over that one.
